This happened to me. Look in the 3.5mm jack for the headphones and see if it's full of lint or other debris. the lint or even metal dust can cause it to short across the sides of the headphone jack and it will disable the regular handset settings. Get a can of "air" for cleaning electronics with the little tube and blow it out. Hope it clears it up for you.

It does sound like a provider issue. I've used Straight Talk before and I like them except when their system has a hiccup, you call and sit on the customer service line for a while; but 9 out of 10 times they just had me enter the " update roaming code" (*22890 *22800 *22801 and *73) for me it was the *22890 - REMEMBER TO REBOOT (TURN YOUR PHONE COMPLETELY OFF, THEN BACK ON ). I would try this first and if this does not work call straight talk. If it does work, write down the code that works and keep it close, cause if your phone acts up (and it will) enter the code!

Always save to SIM, that way if your phone is damaged or water exposed, you can simply move the SIM to a new phone along with your data.

I do not think you need worry about viruses being transmitted through spam phone calls. If you consider a call to be spam don't answer it. If you cannot filter calls, hang up.

on mine you go to settings and then display . it will come up wallpaper and set as. if it;s one of your pics or from a text, you go your pics and press options . then press set as and that should do it.
