Hi Willianette nice to work with you here in fixya..Actually that problem is usually have 3 causes its either Ysustain,logic/controller or XY board..But commonly need to replace it all that's why plasma TV is very expensive to repair..I have some question for you to help me diagnose your TV..
- Do you have multimeter and know how to use it?
- Did you any electronic background?
- Did you measure the VS and VA voltage on power supply inside your TV..If that so what is the actual reading?
Please answer those questions to help me to fix your TV..Regards,Rossiel
My HP wireless mouse does not work. I've tried all
Did it used to work and stopped? I'm ruling out the obvious, replacing the batteries. I would check the Device Manager to see if when you insert the mouse's receiver USB plug, that the device is recognized, and also the driver is properly working. I'm guessing you tried that already... Last resort I would open the mouse and look for any problems with the hardware, and also see if the USB plug is disconnected on the inside. It's also possible for a USB port to "burn up" the trace on the board. This happened to mine for the ports on the top and also thought it was my mouse. I found out that the USB port inside the computer on the top were shorting out the small circuit board. So What I did was remove the small circuit board for the USB ports, and solder in a jumper wire to bridge the gap that was burned out. The cause, dust. I recommend blowing out the case every 3-5 months while it is unplugged with either duster or a compressed air gun preferably. I hope this helps you.
Where can I find a Ballast for HP ID5220 DLP TV?
It looks as if you have to return it personally, and have them fix it. I saw nothing on the HP ID5220 DLP TV in the ballast lists. Sorry, man. Wish I could be of more help. Maybe someone else has a better site, or connections, that can help you. Your best bet is to get professional help with someone, like the company that manufactures the hardware.

Hi, thanks for using fixya..
The Optical Block probably needs to be replaced. This is a major tear down job and a very expensive
repair. Call HP center and see if they are willing to help with the cost of the repair and also to get a local Service out to confirm that it is a Optical Block problem.
I hope this helps,
