HP Pavilion Slimline s5200
yes, I've already said this is a desktop pc.
the reason these don't get answered is because you don't ask a question but you still expect us to help you.
HP s3407c CD Drive
I think that you need to open your tower and try to reconnect your cable from the mother board to the cd player. looks like only the power cable is connected.
Hi, I try to plug
There is a problem with your USB port
you should try getting them fixed which is a tough job, but you can try plugging your removable media into another USB port like USB ports in backside of the cabinet.
If you don't find any problem with your USB device then you must have been having problem with your Removable Media (Mp3)
If your MP3 Player is under warranty period then you can look for its repair (can be done if its out of warranty too, but it will charge you extra)
Solutions
To work around the above issues, one of the below solutions could prove helpful:
-
Unsecure or Loose Connection
Unplug the presently connected USB device (if any). It is quite possible that the connection is not secure
and has become loose. Re-plug the USB device tightly and firmly into
the USB port. This is one of the most common reasons for an error in
detecting a USB device.
-
Scan for Hardware Changes in Device Manager
Use the Device Manager to scan for new and recently installed hardware. From the Start menu, select the Run option. In the pop up box, type in Devmgmt.msc and then click Ok. From the Action menu, click Scan for hardware changes.
This will make Windows scan & recognize any new devices that are
installed. Now, close all opened device managers and control panels.
Now, follow the above step and see if your computer detects the USB device.
-
USB Power Management
Disable power management of the USB hub. To disable the power management on the USB hub, follow these steps; Click Start, and then click Run. Type devmgmt.msc in the popup box, and then click Ok. Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers' node, and then follow these steps for each USB Root Hub that is listed.
1. Right-click the USB Root Hub and then click Properties.
2. Click the Power Management tab.
3. Click to clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click Ok.
Note: If you perform the following procedure on a laptop computer, you may reduce the battery life.
Sometimes, simply unplugging the USB device and turning off the computer for twenty minutes and then
restarting may solve the issue. If none of the above options have solved
the problem, check the manufacturer's website for new driver
information. It is possible that your drivers need to be updated. There
could also be a possibility of hardware failure, which needs to be
checked by a hardware expert
I have done a factory
Hmmmm... nice detailed desktop!
But u failed to mentin ur MONiTOR?
Wut is it? CRT, LCD, monochrome?
My hp pavilion slimline s3407c locked up and I
► do a power drain i.e unplug the power cable and press the power button and hold it down for 10 secs.
► reseat the hard drive by unplugging the cable connecting the hard drive and motherboard and also the power cable
My computer won't turn on! It seems like no power
check if your power used to connect form your CPU to the outlet is not defective...use a multitester to test the said cable,,or simply use another power cord and conenct it from your cpu to the outlet...if still the same you have to purchase a new power supply since there is no power and your curretn power supply is already defective.
I had a port called removable disk (h) now its
try to go to drive manager and see if you have a error at the usp section if not try to delet the one that you not sure of and reboot the system then the computer will read all your drivers and istall them again. hope that work for you and let me know
There are some days when this computer works slow
Possible antivirus or windows updates. They usually run in the background so you wouldn't notice when they are running an update. This is especially the case with Windows. It will slow down the internet speed as well as the Pc itself until it is complete. Apart from that, You may have other programs that automatically run without your knowledge which also update. If the probem gets worse, you may want to download an anti spyware program to check for malware that your antivirus software doesn't catch. Best of luck and hope I've answered your question.

Removing virtual drive
It depends what program you used to add it in the first place. Open the software and look for settings, or just uninstall it.
What causes a red screen when starting up?

What does a HP laptop notebook with model number A6Y530A look like
learn to google mate.
this is no secret, gee millions sold.
A6Y530A
the partsurfer shows true model, and fails
this is the only post here ever asking for reverse code lookups
on models fake, and is not easy in vast cases
I guess you have no such PC, (look like)
so why ask this>? what prompted this quest>? not told
why not ask seller for photos of it if this is a pre sales question , is it>?
google and bing and HP all show that model # is BOGUS
so go back to your sell and ask the we can not guess PCs ever.
HP product ID# is best on the service tag for SURE.
where did you see this number, not told.
or that number is some 20+ year old COMPAQ PC ,lost in the sands of time, and no google hits.
you posted to HP forum, (not real) Hp.com is real
Hp pavilion g series manual
what does not working mean (KBD) dead, or 1 key bad or row. what?
symptoms matter most, for sure in a LAPTOP IS IT
the word Pavilion is on laptops and desktop, dig?
G mean zero , the service tag does not just say "G" sorry.
easy peasy lemon squeezy
HP.com
complex URL no?
go there
tell them your model # or better the service tag code ! .
then magically HP puts you on YOUR service support page
and all manuals and all driver before your eyes. amazing no?
NO told at all
or of a laptop or desktop or what./?
you posted ANON so I can't just read other posts by you to learn what PC this is , no I can not.
there are over 100 PC called G series, and vast years.
some PCs by them G1 to 7 are generations, like
HP Pavilion g6-1029tx Notebook.
if you can find the service tag the product ID # is what matters most
this code includes (real model, version , options and country sold)
see this, older PCs by them had this.
see that , all matters but do not post SN/ or service codes in public.
mine: procuct code (nnnnnnABA#)

The airplane mode button is stuck on orange although my computer say's airplane mode off
old PCs do that, for many reasons. but no PC told at all just HP.
40 years of PCs ,10000 + models nobody can guess ever.
but I do have the answer, in pure generic form.
did you buy the PC like that used and bad Wifi. ?
- the wifi card is missing, as was super common 10+ years ago.
- someone put in the wrong card, not from HP list
- HP blacklists (bios blocks) none HP cards (wifi)
- the card needs a driver to work if not it is dead or 1/2 dead.
- the PC needs 1 more driver to make the wifi buttons all work , all buttons related, if not they are dead or act odd.
- The OS is infected, no OS told at all, not one clue nor if upgraded the OS, and not vast drivers are wrong or missing, (classic)
Im sure this this is not the free w10 upgrade, if it was that too kills drivers dead, for sure HP told you this unstated PC will not run W10 and has zero support from HP, on w10 AS YOUR SUPPORT PAGE WILL DISCLOSE TO YOU AT HP.COM
