How do i change boot order on emachine t3604

You will need to change the boot order in the bios set-up. Turn your computer off, and turn it n again (alternatively Restart it) These things may be initiated by clicking the Windows button at the bottom left of tour screen, and from the shut down drop down menu selecting the appropriate option) As your computer is starting up, and the Emachines logo appears on the screen "Press the "Tab" key repetitatively: If that fails to take you into the BIOSsetup, repeat and try either the "Escape," "Delete," or "F2" keys instead of the Tab key. Once in the BIOS setu[p, Look through the options until see Boot order, and then change that to CD first, HD 2nd. Exit the BIOS setup with save changes option. Done. 19.February.2015

WHEN COMPUTER COMES ON THE VGA ADAPTER SHOWS

Sounds like a "Power On Password" and you'll need it to continue. You can try pressing "Enter" with the field bland and if there was no password set, it should continue to load windows.
Please clarify if I misunderstood your issue?

T3604 bios corrupt

The eMachines T3604 Desktop PC uses an Intel D945GCL motherboard,http://www.ascendtech.us/intel-d945gcl-1066fsb-ddr2-pcie-x16-sata_i_mb4intd945gcl.aspxRead what you stated. Just posting for visual corroboration.http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/d945gclhttp://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-022312.htmYes,.....a pre-built computer company has a BIOS program written especially for them. That is, for each model line of computer......................GENERALLY..............However, IMHO I think the standardized Intel BIOS program was used, and not specific to eMachines, or this model line.Just an assumption, and you know what they say about assuming.I leave it in your capable hands.Regards, joecoolvette

Is there a soundcard for the t3604 with a output mixer on it

The eMachines T3604 desktop computer uses an Intel 945GCL motherboard,http://www.ascendtech.us/intel-d945gcl-1066fsb-ddr2-pcie-x16-sata_i_mb4intd945gcl.aspx(No, not advertising. Just a good photo of the motherboard, if you slightly scroll down)Look at the chart below the photo of the mobo. (MOtherBOard)Expansion Capabilities: A) Two PCI slots (Two PCI Conventional bus connectors. Long white slots)B) One PCI Express x1 bus add-in card connector.(PCI Express x1 slot. The longer PCI-Express x16 slot is on top. Then the two long white PCI slots. Then the shorter black PCI-Express x1 slot)You can use a Sound Card in an available white PCI slot, or if the black PCI-Express x1 slot is open.Yes, I know, I'm getting to it, lol!The Onboard Audio -> Intel High Definition Audio, doesn't have an output mixer feature. My onboard audio - Realtek, (And on an Intel mobo), does.[ Intel 915G (Southlake) motherboard.Has a Realtek audio chip, ALC860. I use the Realtek Audio Manager. Has Sound Effects, and an equalizer. What happened from the Intel 915G to the Intel 945GCL INTEL?Sheesh! ]Suggest this if you have an open, available PCI slot,http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4459743&CatId=2771This, if you only have the PCI Express x1 slot open,http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=420799&CatId=2771I don't recommend a USB sound card, but you may,http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5344879&CatId=2771(Usually only 16-bit.Plugs into a USB port where the contacts are not gold plated, as on a PCI sound card, or PCI-Express x1 sound card.I'm old school, and probably need to evolve ; )Plus use Virtual DJ,http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.htmlMixing Tips;1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkGAFTXidKs&feature=related2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ62zoVIKB4&feature=related3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn6nsXpX7bU&feature=relatedRegards,joecoolvette

Media test failure

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

Can't restore emachine

Telephone eMachines, and order a replacement "System Recovery" set of CDs. Given the serial-number and model-number of your computer, they know what O.S. originally was factory-shipped with your computer, and they will replace that part.
Probably, a small fee for courier-shipping.

try F8 when the computer is booting. This should take you to an optional start up menu. Try the safe mode. Did you recently install any devices or software? If you did in safe mode remove them and reboot. Should fix the problem
