You can usually visit the website and call customer service and have them mail one out to you, or download a PDF version if they are still easy to find [I did that for my tabe top electric grill :D] But as long as you bought one they usually have no problem sending one out. best recommendation would be to download one. I just googled for mine.

Depends what is damaged and to what extent, check the plug is ok and fuse not blown.....anything big you could claim accidental Insurance although may not be worth it depending on terms of policy and any excess....

I would contact the manufacturer and get a manual if you haven't got one already. While you're at it, you should probably ask them for guidance on this - - I've seen other complaints, including one where the plastic on the plugwas actually melting, but have not been able to find any safetyrecalls, although evidently the manufacturer, Salton, Inc. is having abad year financially - - you might want to get ahold of them soonerthan later.
