Gateway lx6200 power issues
Disconnect all hard drives or optical drives to see if it does the same thing. If it comes up begging for a system drive, your system hard drive probably has a corrupted boot sector that is redirecting to a restart instead of proceeding with startup. It wouldn't surprise me if it's also infected with a virus or a bunch of them.

Why cant i send an email
without information on which mail program you are using, its hard to help. Sending e-mail uses the smtp server of your ISP. The ISP could be having trouble, try calling them. They could then help you if the trouble is on your end.

Need more power from video card for gaming
The HD3200 on-board (integrated on the motherboard) graphics on this older machine will not support many games. You need to add a separate graphics card to this unit and disable the on-board graphics. Decide on how much you can afford for a new card and check out tomshardware.com VGA charts to see the best performing video card in your price range. You might also consider a newer machine as this is probably about 5 years old. Whatever machine you get, make sure you do not depend on on-board graphics if you want to do gaming.

How to recover tally data from formatted hdd ?
you would have to purchase data recovery software to perform this action. It can not be done with out that software. Once it is formatted with NTFS, it can not be undone because it basically wipes the hard drive the specs of when you purchased it brand new.

Cookies wont allow downloading a photo
in your browser window, find the Tools tab on the Menu option. Click on Tools, find Internet Properties at bottom and click on it. On the General Tab find the 'Delete Cookies' button and click it. This will delete your browser cookies if using Internet Explorer. Refresh browser(close and open again). If the photo will still not download it might be 'protected' by the original photographer or site you are downloading from. You cannot download items that are 'privately protected' by owner or web site.

Unlock gateway touchpad
Hello, Your touchpad's driver might be outdated that's why it's acting like that. Drivers are small software which make the hardware parts communicate with the operating system. If the drivers get outdated, then it won't function well. You can get the update from the website of your computer's manufacturer. If you want to cover all drivers, then you can scan your computer with RadarSync (www.radarsync.com) so that you will know which drivers are outdated and you can use the same software to update them all. Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope this helps!David

How do I change security settings so I can download Classic, it says security settis want allow me to do this
Step 1: Internet cookies allow certain information on webpages to be saved for when the user returns to them. For example, a Yahoo! homepage customization requires cookies, so the user will have the exact same setup every time he returns to the Yahoo! homepage. Browsers typically come with cookies enabled by default, but sometimes a user might disable them and forget that he did. Changing the browser security settings back to allowing cookies is easy. Click the tools pull-down menu along the top of the browser. "Click" "Options" and select "Privacy." Allow cookies. For Firefox, tick the checkbox next to "Allow cookies from sites." For Internet Explorer, click the "Default" button. Select "OK" to save changes. b>
Safari Browser Click the "Menu" button. Select "Preferences," and then "Security." Select "Always" next to "Accept Cookies." Click "OK" to save changes. b>
Google Chrome Select the "Tools" pull-down menu. Click "Options," and then "Under The Hood." Select "Content Settings" in "Privacy." Ensure "Allow local data to be set" is selected for both first- and third-party cookies. b> Manage your cookies and site data

Gateway lx-6200 desktop im getting
PXE is for network booting, make sure that's not set as the only boot device in your BIOS.
If the BIOS is not seeing the hard drive, make sure to unplug and replug the power and SATA/IDE cables from the drive and the motherboard to make sure they have a good connection. Get very close to the drive at power up and listen. Does it spin up? If not, it's not getting power or it's a dead drive.
If it spins up ok, no ticking, and the BIOS still doesn't see it, try resetting the BIOS back to factory default. Also try different cables and even a different slot on the motherboard. If you have a spare drive, hook it up to the same cables and see if that drive is recognized. If so, it's a drive issue for sure.
Has this drive worked in that PC before?

Will not boot, does not
This is not a problem that can I can troubleshoot via posting an answer. There are too many questions, who's answers can lead in different directions to repair this problem. I would be happy to help you solve this, if I had a way to speak with you (either via phone or chat on the internet). Send me an email and we can install a chat program and work that way. You will need to have a pc to use that we can chat on and have access to the pc that we will be repairing at the same time.
My AOL account is kndkcook. You add the @ aol. Email me when you are ready to work on this and we will solve this. If this is not acceptible to you, reject this solution and try again with another expert.
