LG WD 1433RD wont turn on
Possible failure of the power to the controller, check after disconnecting and if there is power to the controller with no action there is failure within the board. Check for fuse within or the surge protector, if not there can be damage in the circuit. estimate cost.
Have an error code UE - can you help?
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
LG's 'UE' stands for 'Unbalance Error'.
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)
Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.
(If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal suspension is malfunctioning.)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My washer-dryer is an LG
Disconnect power then remove the screws securing the top panel to the rear of the machine. Slide the panel rearward then lift the panel off. Remove the screw attaching the control panel to the inside of the cabinet then lift up and rotate the panel to the front.
Open the door then remove the two screws in the door opening. Pry on the spring clamp assembly to release and remove it from the outer lip of the door opening. Peel the door gasket off into the drum.
Pull flat screwdriver or pully knife into the both sides of drain filter cover and pull it out then remove the screw from the lower side of the cabinet cover behind the filter cover.
Remove the screw holding the top of the front panel to the cabinet then lift and remove it. Remove the clamp securing the door seal to the front tub and install the new seal. Reassemble the machine in reverse order of the tear down process.

Hi LG WD 1433rd wont spin up to speed. Have
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'won't spin up to speed'- does that mean that it stays running at the normal slow speed? If so it could be motor OR control board.
If it is just struggling then it does sound as if the motor requires replacement, particularly noticeable when called upon to run the spin cycle. It is not uncommon to find that the brushes are worn sufficiently for them to not make perfect contact with the commutator at the higher speeds- bouncing and sparking. Now, a word or two of advice from this retired Englishman in SW France. It might be suggested that just the brushes on the motor want changing; experience (of others) suggests that they may only last months rather than many years UNLESS the motor itself is refurbished. Refurbishment includes skimming the commutator on which the brushes run. Without skimming the brushes do not sit cleanly on the commutator (like the worn ones!), often causing excessive sparking and excessive wear on BOTH. Alternately a new motor! I changed the motor on our 19+ year-old Bosch at a cost of GBP250 ;-0(
The choice of course is entirely up to you- but do not forget that it is not an uncommon fault, especially if the washer is not exactly new. Others I have given this advice to have chosen new brushes and I don't blame them!

I'm looking for a manual
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.

On the digital read out it reads "CL" - no
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'CL' for LG washers stands for 'Child Lock'.
To release hold down 'temp' and 'eco/rapid' together, then release!
