If this is a Whirlpool manufactured TOP LOADER (such as Roper, Estate, Kenmore, Amana, and Frigidaire), you may have a damaged or broken motor coupling. Whirlpool manufactured top loading washers use a motor coupling between the drive motor and gearcase (transmission) in place of a drive belt. This configuration is known as "direct-drive". The coupling can break through normal wear and tear. Washing frequent loads of heavy items and reduce the life span of the coupler. Common symptoms include the following:

1. No spin or agitation.
2. Washer will fill and empty.
3. Drive motor still runs.
4. Strange rattling, grinding or clicking noise during agitation or spin cycles as the drum sits still.

If your washer is exhibiting these symptoms, then its probably a safe bet that the motor coupling is bad.

The pressure switch, also called the water level switch, is what control the amount of water goes in the machine, If your machine is constantly filling to the overflow point, then that is your problem. Now, if water is going in and the level is staying the same then your machine drain line is lower than the pump and your siphoning out the water as it goes in. Hi Carol:The "DE error code" is indicative of a Door Error. This indicates that the washing machine door is not shutting, locking or opening. you can order a new flap froom marcone appliance parts they have front door mail service alson if marcone does not carry this and they should you can go dircetly to samsung I have personally done tons of warrantly work for them ad they are more then happy to help there customers hope this helps

it sounds like your motor or module board the only way I can help is by testing it its not a fix that can be done over the net you are prob better calling a engineer but shop round some charge way to much

As with any top-loader, the soap drawer will deposit the entire soap load on one spot within the first few seconds of water fill. When the water starts running through the soap drawer, the brakes on the drum are released, so you can manually rotate the drum to disperse the soap over the load surface, thus eliminating the concentrated spots. Also, you may save the duvet, as the white marks are most probably dried soap powder which can be removed with a damp cloth wiped over the area.

Did you clean the filter? There is a filter in the inlet, a little filter that can be removed with a pair of pliers. Rinse it out and put filter back in its place. I think it would not even matter if you leave the filter out. Hot water filter is not blocked because it is not used as often as the cold water one. Clean both! I noticed a big drop in water flow if filter is dirty.
