Speed Queen CTSA0AWN Front Load Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.
If these actions have not cured the problem, it could be the control board OR the main motor. Motors will show weaknesses when commanded to spin.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

When turn to spind ry it just dont do the work
Your empty pump filter is probably blocked. Not enough water getting evacuated when it empties so the spin cycle wont run. The filter is probably on the front of the machine at the bottom (probably behind a little door).
Locate, clean, reassemble, job probably done

My Speed Queen washer shakes and walks during the
Did you remove the shipping bolts from the back of the washer? They are located on the back, usually very clearly marked "REMOVE" and have a red or yellow plastic washer/bushing. This is a fairly common problem with front load washers, from what I understand.
They're big suckers, and they keep the drum suspension from absorbing any vibration (so the drum doesn't slam around during shipping). Good luck!

The soap dispenser in my
This is usually caused by a low water pressure problem.Water will take the path of least resistance and in this case the soapdispenser suffers. A couple of things to look for are.
- Check the water line screens and water valve screens. If these are plugged with debris it will lower your water pressure.
To check this remove the hot andcold fill hoses on the rear of the machine. Look inside of the water valve forand debris there is a screen on the valve to catch this. The machine also camewith inline water screens. Check to see if theses were installed and if theyare plugged and installed properly.
These will be inside the fill hoseat either the machine end or the spigot end it depends on who installed them. The proper orientation of this screen is that the pointed end should be facingthe incoming water.
2. Check to see if you have goodwater pressure at the machine hose connections. This is easily done with awater pressure gauge. I purchased one at Home Depot for around $10.00. This ismuch less than a service call. Put the gauge on the water line and turn on thevalve. Then turn on any faucets or appliances that feed from the same line andsee what the pressure is. The installation manual that came with your machinewill have the water pressure spec on it.

A lot of machines can suffer from this problem. It is
usually down to a bacteria build up between the drum and the tub. The majority
of appliances that suffer form this have been used mainly on 40 degree washes
and with a biological detergent.
The best way to get rid of this smell is to place two tablespoons of washing
soda or soda crystals in the detergent drawer and then run the appliance empty
on the 90 degree wash. You may have to repeat this treatment several times
before the smell goes but it will go eventually.
You can give me a ‘very helpful’ rating for the free help,
can't you. Thanks.

Speed queen washer shown er65
The Speed Queen error code 65 occurs when the washer's main control board detects a problem with the door switch. The door switch is a safety feature that prevents the washer from operating when the door is open. When the main control board detects an issue with the door switch, it will display the error code 65. There are a few reasons why the door switch may be malfunctioning. The most common reason is that the door switch is dirty or obstructed. Another possibility is that the door switch is loose or damaged. If the door switch is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

Speed Queen Washer displaying codes TL 05. 00 D5
Yes, good diagnostics and summary. Don't guess with control boards for exactly the reason you stated. Call for service, you need the correct diagnosis and warranty on the part and the service call. There are indeed expensive and not for guessing.

Speed Queen SC30BC front load single phase 240 volts washer.
To diagnose the issue with the Speed Queen SC30BC washer, it's important to determine which component is causing the fuse to blow. Here are a few steps you can take to help identify the problem:
- Unplug the washer and visually inspect the wiring and components for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires or melted components.
- Check for any loose connections, and tighten them if necessary.
- Use a multimeter to measure the resistance across the wiring and components. If the resistance is very low, it may indicate a short circuit.
- Check the drain pump for any blockages or damage.
- Inspect the control board for any signs of damage or melted components.
- Test the door switch to make sure it is functioning properly.
- Test the water level control valve to make sure it is not stuck open and allowing excessive water into the washer.
If you are not comfortable with electrical repairs, it's best to call a professional for assistance. Attempting to repair electrical equipment without proper training can be dangerous and potentially damaging to the machine.

Speed queen washing machine model number awne82sp11two1 stuck on cycle
If your Speed Queen washing machine is stuck on a cycle, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the power supply and make sure that the washing machine is properly plugged in and receiving power.
- Check the fuse or circuit breaker to make sure that the washing machine is not tripping any electrical circuits.
- Make sure that the washing machine is not paused or paused on a cycle that is longer than usual. If the machine is paused, simply press the start button to resume the cycle.
- Make sure that the washing machine door is properly closed and latched. If the door is not properly closed, the machine may not start or may get stuck on a cycle.

Speed Queen Awn412sp111tw01 Washer, no cold water!
In the back of the cold water hose connection there is a small gauze filter. Check is is clear of limescales and debris. While the hose is off, hold the hose in a bucket and have someone else turn the stop valve on. Don't try and do it yourself. If you have good water flow and a new water inlet valve, it can only be the wiring or the control board / connections to it.
