How do i fix my belt, is bowing up on my NB 1500 treadmill?
There are two knobs on each side at the end of the treadmill deck. Twist those knobs to tighten the belt. You will need to tight both sides. The little meters show you the amount of tightening you have done. They're most useful for making sure you have both sides tightened the same; otherwise the belt will be lopsided and slide to one side or the other.

My new balance 1500 treadmill
It sounds like you have a bearing failing, either in the front roller or the motor. If it is the front roller it will be a dull "Clicking" noise, if its the drive motor it will be a growl noise. The growl will be so loud at top speed you wont be able to even talk over the noise. Remove the motor hood and this will help you determine the culprit. The deck on my nb1500 seems to be sagging a bit in
I just ran in to the same issue. Turns out there is a board inside the belt and it split. I can still run but it doesnt feel right and makes it awkward. I am trying to see, if i can get a replacement board. I will let you know once i hear back from FitnessQuest

New motor board and the belt pulses
It sounds like the unit speed sensor is out of adjustment or the connections is not secure when replaced the new board and last thing some units sometimes need a calibration to tell the upper console to synchronize with the lower board.
