Hi, Try to tension the Walking belt. If the walking belt is not in tension then the belt will stop when you step on it. Watch the video to find how to tension the walking belt. Every treadmill follows the same procedure.

The SCR lower board is designed with diagnostic LED lights. The LED's are color coded according to their specific function. Green indicates a properly operating treadmill; the green lights should always be ON when power is supplied to the treadmill. Yellow indicates a treadmill function. Red indicates a treadmill malfunction. Here is a list of each LED and what it signifies: MOTOR (yellow) - The MOTOR LED illuminates when dc (direct current) voltage is sent to the drive motor. The LED gets brighter when the dc output is increased. RLC (yellow) - The RLC (R = Reactance / L = Inductance / C = Capacitance) LED illuminates when the filtering system is properly working. The filtering system includes the capacitor and filter choke. If there is a short in either component then the RLC light will not come on. DN & UP (yellow) - The DN and UP LED lights tell us if the elevation DN and UP relays are functioning properly. When the LED lights, it tells us that the relay has energized and is sending high voltage (110vac or 220vac) to the elevation motor. AC PWR (green) - The AC PWR (Alternating Current Power) illuminates when AC line voltage is delivered to the treadmill. It then passes through the in-line fuse (110)/s(220) and lights the AC PWR LED. +12V (green) - When the proper AC voltage is delivered to the treadmill, passes through the in-line fuse/s, through the full wave bridge rectifier (changes AC to DC), through the transformer (steps down

Dear Sir: I will help you, please do the following step: Instructions Things You'll Need

• Power supply
• Standard screwdriver
• Batteries
• Access to local fuse or circuit breakers, if necessary

1. • 1 Check to see if the Pro-Form device is properly plugged into a working, grounded power supply if none of the console buttons are working. Turn the device on and reset local fuses or circuit breakers if necessary; reset the circuit breaker switch on the base of the unit.
     
   • 2 Turn off the fitness device and unplug from the power supply if the console only shows zeros or the console buttons are not working. Use a standard screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the underside of the console. Pull out the old batteries and recycle, if possible. Replace with new batteries, using the old batteries as a guide for the size and type of batteries needed. Place the flat end of each battery against the spring inside the battery compartment and gently push the battery into place. Close the battery compartment and restore power.
     
   • 3 Press and hold the "Stop" button if the console is only flashing repeatedly, indicating that the device is in demo mode. Insert the console key and push the "Speed Down" button to turn off the demo mode on the unit. Remove the console key.
     
   • 4 Reset the console buttons if the incline is not working properly on the machine. Insert the console key and press one of the "Incline" buttons. While the incline is in the process of changing, remove the console key. Wait two or three seconds and re-insert the console key.
     
   • 5 Remove the console key and unplug the Pro-Form device if none of the above steps are resolving the problem with the console keys. Unscrew the three screws that hold the motor hood on the front of the device and pivot the hood off the machine. Find the magnet and small reed switch on the left side of the pulley. Turn the pulley until the magnet is aligned with the reed switch and the gap between the two is approximately 1/8 inch. Reattach the hood, screw into place and turn the treadmill back on

If you can walk on your treadmill but you get a burning smell from it, you have a bad problem and discontinue use immediately and unplug the treadmill.

Burning smells are most commonly associated with the following problems:

1) Very high belt/deck friction.

2) Short in the motor.

3) Short in the wiring or electronics.

4) Literally cooking the lacquer or cardboard core (on cheap machines) in the motor from belt friction or a drive system

obstruction.

Friction is the #1 cause of this problem. Many cheaper treadmills have a motor with a cardboard core (people wonder why we are so

down on cheap treadmills) and if the voltage and amperage through the motor heats it up sufficiently, it begins to smolder. If this is the

case, you normally have to replace the belt and the motor and inspect the deck. If the armature has cooked enough in the motor, you

also have to replace the motor.

If the belt and deck check out OK, check for a short in the motor. You can run the motor with an independent power source like a fullycharged

cordless drill battery to see if the symptoms are the same. Click on the following link for our motor test.

If the belt and deck check out and the motor is OK, then check your wiring and electronics for signs of scorching and replace the

appropriate part(s).
