Incline problem
All icon models are the same. The easiest way to incline calibration is to start the treadmill, push the incline up button and then after you release the button, remove the safety key. Replace the safety key and the treadmill should calibrate.
If that doesn't work, press the stop and speed up buttons and hold, then place the safety key in place. This will bring you to the speed/incline calibration. Press stop again. now press incline up. This will run the incline calibration.
You may need to remove the hood and manually with a drill lower the motor. Using a slot screwdriver bit, lower the motor a bout 50 turns and then try the procedure above again if necessary.
Does the Proform crosswalk caliber elite (model PFTL71505) use a battery?
I also have a PFTL71505 which like the original questioner has failed with only the 3 and 9 (and program key) responding. I have tried to buy a replacement, but ICON does make or sell them any more. The fact that this is an identical problem must mean there is a characteristic fault. Any suggestions on getting a replacement or fix. I have the parts manual, and have looked at the back of the console. There is no battery, and I don't see an obvious burned part. Since none of the other numeric keys work, I don't think this has anyting to do with motor control.
