I have a coleman gen. 6500 voltage at meter but not at the outlet

First check to see if your gen has a tripped GFCI that needs to be reset at the outlet. If it's not a GFCI outlet, it's possible you may have a disconnected or broken wire going to the outlet. You'll need to trace the wiring back to the meter..

I picked up an old Coleman PM1500 gen set for free. It doesn't have a manual. I'm trying to figure out what the gas-oil ratio is.

We are unable to find a manual, but 50:1 usually if it is a 2 stroke.

Coleman power mate won't start. Plug is good, fuel is getting to carb. If I use starter spray it will run for a few seconds and die.

sounds like a sticking float or clogged needle jet inside the carb. i'm currently working on exactly that same issue 26381131-bquajmf3wtqoccqehhe3sjc5-5-0.jpg

Looking for a special B/S carburator the run on natural gas, and not regular gas.

there are natural or lpg operated engines in gen sets being sold currently on the market try talking to a gen set repair /retailer shop to get the make of carby being used on those motors regardless of the engine make , what is required is the engine capacity (CC) so that the correct flow rate for the engine through the carby can be sorted to get the correct carby once the carby is identified , it may be possible to get it from e-bay or a gen set manufacture spares that makes lpg or natural gas gensets

Shut it off, restart. May have condensation. This happened to me with a generac. OH! OH! OH! Check your fuses! Generator will start, but produce nothing MAY just be a fuse.

A Coleman Powermate 6250 with a Briggs and Stratton engine new won't crack. Got gas to crab and motor full of oil. Spray starting fluid in it it until it's gone. Why wouldn't it start? ??

If its new, SOME generators will not start unless at least 3/4 full of gas. Spark plugs secured all the way in? Gas switch on? Pull the choke? NO MORE starting fluid, Bad Louie, BAD! some of the suggestions i posted above may help :) but, no more starting fluid.
