There are replaceable parts for this unit. It may cost more to to Ryobi and back plus parts and labor.

they are for the charger to know the voltage in the battery to turn on or off charging. some just need 3 connections and the 4th is just a dead connection. or can be for location only so you don't put the wrong battery in. as they do other voltage batteries that look the same fitting.

Australia has a 230v supply, and the US 110v. The power supply for your charger will indicate what input voltage it can handle.
