Bosch Axxis+ WFR 2460 Front Load Washer - Page 3 Questions & Answers

I would imagine that you accidently disconnected the water level pressure switch and the machine never new the water level had been reached. However a "pop" is a bad thing electrical and I hope you didn't fry your control panel. The fuse shoud be on the back of the unit by the power cord. Obviously unplug it before servicing it.
good luck!
I bought a small Bosch frontload washer at green
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
A quick and easy way to find out which tray is which is to pull the detergent drawer out just so that you can see into it. Start a pre-wash and see where the water runs in, then advance to the main wash and observe. Finally start a rinse cycle and where the water goes in is where the conditioner/softener goes.
In a few cases I have come across, the pre-wash tray shares with the conditioner/softener part but the pre-wash powder goes in the front and the softener in the back.
Now, methinks you could do with a manual ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct.
If these have assisted you please score accordingly.
Thanks and good luck!

Bosch washer Axxis+ gives following error message:
Have you tried cleaning the filter next to the drainage pipe? (Lower left near Door).
The compartment is opened by turning it anti-clockwise and pulling it out (Be wary of water coming out!).
Most likely a small obstruction (Coin, Rocks, Toothpick... and in past experiences a "thong") might be blocking your impeller.
Hope this helps, if it doesn't let me know and I'd get technical ;-)
Kind Regards

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses
and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If
it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the
correct
type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum
isn't
getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from
your
house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if
the
block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your
filter is clean.

Bosh wasmachine doesn't was clothes
Remove hose at washer connection and check screen filter not blocked with grit from pipes. Check screen at tap end also. If both clear, machine may need water valve replaced.
There are 3 compartments . . .
It says the 1st compartment going left to right laundry detergant and stain remover, the middle is for the soaking agent, and the last one is for fabric softner. I hope that helps!
You can download the manual online and I found the info on page 12 of the manual.

Hello, I just placed a load of laundry in my Bosch
Try selecting the spin prog, if there is any water in the washer, this will drain it, and you should be able to open the door.
Please leave comment as to whether this solved your prob or not.
Thankyou.
Spin speeds
I thought I had replied to this post before, however, you should have a button on the control panel showing 600 or 1200.
Just press the button for the correct spin speed.

Thanks.
I have a Bosch washer, model number WFK 2401 that
I just had the same problem last week Aug 1 2009
on our WFK 2401 purchased in 2001
If you hear no motor spinning when it should then it's something
with the motor. If you hear motor spinning, esp spin cycle, but
the drum doesn't spin, then probably broken belt ($30 part).
Since I work on cars (this is very much like an alternator+belt) and wanted to avoid a $100 service call (just to come to house) and
at least try for a quick fix before buying a new washer, I opened the back, confirmed belt looked ok, so tried
replacing the brushes in the motor, and it worked.
For a good description on how to do this see
http://dossy.org/2007/05/lots-of-miles-on-our-bosch-wfk2401uc-washer-motor/
I took some pics, and time permitting will post more details
to this dossy site to help fellow owners.
I purchased the brushes at partstap.com for $50 (incl tax+ship)
