check that the drain pipe is not blocked or has a bend in it as this will stop water passing easily, remove and blow down pipe to make sure its clear. (wash out mouth afterwards) if this is fine then the pump must be weak or something is stopping its movement. if it is the pump you will need to remove it from washer and open the pump up by the 3 screws and remove the propeller and clean out the housing and pump parts, should be magnetic type and easy to fix. build up of food debris can limit the pump from moving.

it means it cant feel if any water is entering the machine. either due to the water being turned off somewhere , the inlet hose not connected or the inlet flow sensor has failed

Either the heater unit or the dryer fan is faulty.

Check that you have not been using the Eco wash cycles.

Also make sure you are using the detergent and rinse-aid recommended in the dishwasher manual.

Hi,

It's fairly easy but you need to remove the front panel of the door first. To do this you will need a T20 T-Star screwdriver or screwdriver bit then follow these instructions:

1. Open the door and fold it down flat - there are 10 screws (T20) around the edges of the door
2. Undo and remove the 3 screws on each side - leave the 4 screws at the top!
3. Close the door
4. Grab the door at the bottom on both sides and pull gently towards you about 2-3 inches.

At this point you may find that 2 plastic clips fall out. Don't panic - it's not broken. They slide back on when the panel is removed.

5. When the bottom of the door is pulled away, pull it downwards and it will slide out from behind the control panel. The outer panel of the door should now be completely free.

You will now be able to see the back of the detergent compartment where the springs are located. Re-attach the springs, then re-fit the door following the instructions above in reverse order. If one or both of the clear plastic door clips have come off, reattach them to the brackets at the bottom of the door before re-fitting the panel. It's much easier this way!

T-Star bits are freely available - I've attached a picture of one.

If you get into any difficulty removing or refitting the door, please post back and I will assist you further.

100% fact. But people would not agree. Some times the washing machine left un attended, it will become a walking machine during spin cycle.

Contact the service provider and get appliance inspected. It could any thing!

Hmmmmmmmm. If the water goes in and the pump starts yet there is no washing action I would suspect that you have an impeller failure. The impeller on Bosch dishwashers is a two piece unit and the plastic rivets slowly dissolve until he impeller fails in 2 pieces. The fix is a new impeller which is supplied with a new seal as well. I believe Bosch does this to avoid running so long without renewing the seal and having a leak. I can't think of any other reason to have a dishwasher soluble part for an impeller. It's a bit of a bit** to fix but there are good videos on utube.

Check water supply to dishwasher. If ok then check water inlet filter for block. If blocked clean or replace.

We read on google that a lady had this problem and we copied her instructions to see if it worked and am so pleased to say it did.
OUR PROBLEM WAS WE HAD E15 AND NO WATER IN THE BOTTOM OF OUR DISHWASHER, BUT THE PUMP STILL KEPT GOING ON AND OFF. EVEN WHEN THE ON/OFF BUTTON ON THE DISHWASHER WAS OFF.WE PULLED THE DISHWASHER OUT AND TILTED IT BACKWARDS (WHILST STILL ON), AND AFTER A MINUTE THE SETTING RETURNED TO NORMAL.So do try this before you call an engineer.

Bosch SMS Series Dishwasher Fault Codes E15
Water in base
Float sensor in the base has been activated. You can try to empty the base and restart the dishwasher as you will find noted many times in the forums but, if there is a leak this error code will simply be displayed again, you must find the cause of the leak.

but if you have a different model it can be something else

Check your drain hose, especially where it goes into your garbage disposal. Also, if you got a new garbage disposal, make sure the plug has been knocked out in the dishwasher drain port.
