What do you mean by recipes?

What works best for me is to wash the rice until the water runs clear, constantly agitating it. Then let it set for an hour undisturbed. Add water - one knuckle joint (a little over an incy) above the rice level. Plug the rice cooker in and press the start lever down. And let it do its thing.

If you have left over rice, add about one cup of water a day to keep it from drying out.

Measurements are much the same for all rice cookers. The scoop holds around 135gms of rice for one person, then fill the cooker up to the level appropriate for the number of scoops you have used.
I find washing the rice first makes better rice.

Replace the thermal fuse! check the thermostat setting! If u don't have knowledge on such parts and service, bring it to ur nearest dealer or electronic technician! taah!

Check the outlet where u plug in the rice cooker. It could be that the circuit breaker has kicked off or the fuse has blown. let me know how you make out. If that isnt the problem I have additional suggestioins

First you have to make sure that the power outlet is working fine using a Multi Tester. Next is disconnect the Power Plug from the Rice Cooker and test continuity within the cord.  make sure those two are both working good.  next step is to open the Rice Cooker Bottom.  Again using a multi tester, Test the continuity of the Thermostat, make sure multi tester setting is on the ohm setting. reading should be zero, if reading is higher than 200 ohms, the thermostat is defective.  Which is the reason why your cooker is not turning on is due to an open in the circuitry.  Check warranty with the store you purchased it from or the manufacturer of the rice cooker.

Either the inner pan is not seated deep enough, or the bushing where the paddle comes through the pan has raised up a bit. Support - Parts for replacement parts on the Black and Decker website.
