Even though nabi runs an android operating system, it still won't let you go anywhere you want to. The first thing I did was download Google chrome web browser. You get much more freedom of web navigation with it than the built in browser. Nabi does not work with the Google play store for apps, but you can download the Amazon store. There are a lot of free apps there. Look for free music download apps that way. Also, make sure you are in mommy mode for all of this.

If the end of the charger broke off inside your nabi, it will be difficult, but you can get it out. Ideally you still have the broken piece. Superglue the end, put it back in and let it set, then pull it out quickly. If you don't have the rest of the broken piece, you can use something like a toothpick or a cotton swab with the cotton tip removed. Check out YouTube for videos on this. If your charging cord just fell apart and nothing is broken inside your nabi, just buy a universal charging cord. Make sure the tip matches the one you broke. Amazon is a good place for finding these. It will still charge your device.

Sounds like you have some type of software corruption. What I'd do is try to factory reset the device. This will wipe the tablet, but at least you'll have it working again!

To factory reset your phone, Just follow this simple steps below: *Turn off your Tablet *Press and hold Power key and Volume down key at the same time *Release the keys when the recovery mode appears, then navigate using volume up key to Wipe All user data and use the power key to select that option *Wait for a DONE message that will appear in your phone. *Then restart your phone using the power key. Done!

Try a different charger first, as it maybe faulty. If not the battery maybe faulty and I would purchase a new one.
