If it is not defect, but the battery is empty, it can take up to 10 or even 30 minutes, before there is enough power to start the tablet. Depends on brand and type. Check the manual to see how long you should charge a new tablet, before you can switch on. I would charge at least that long.

there is no possible way to remotely restart a tablet but there is a way to do it press and hold the power key for about five seconds and this will force the tablet to turn off or reboot the android system and it should be fine however if it freezes again this can be an issue with the android system itself and the tablet will need to be reset (resetting android for some tablets: press and hold the power and volume down (or volume up) key and this will boot to recovery mode for some others say like samsung press the power volume up (or down) along with the home key to go into recovery mode)

Check out the videos. You have an 'iPad Mini'.

you need to set up an iCloud account and you need to enter your credit card details so you can buy apps if you need to. Most are free. You can also buy music and films.

You probably have an Android tablet. Google and Android have abandoned support for Flash Player because of continued vulnerability to malware, which means that many videos on Youtube will not play on Android devices as Flash is needed to show them.

It is said that you can still manually install a working version of Flash from the Adobe archive. I have not tried it myself.

Probably the reason you cannot install a heap of apps is that there is not enough memory on the device.
The more memory the more apps you can installl.
