Installed JD light kit, engine stops when light switced on
You can't really go forward very far without checking the circuitry and individual components using an independent supply from a battery, a test lamp and a multimeter.
From your description it indicates you have a short circuit somewhere.
I suggest you revisit those fitting instructions to check you haven't made a mistake. After that I would proceed by using a battery to supply the lighting circuit instead of the alternator, just for the purpose of testing and with a fuse in the supply...
Why traction belt keeps jumping off the pully
If the pulleys are aligned, and the bearings of the pulleys are not worn out, causing the pulleys to wobble, look at a belt that has worn out and/or stretched. Also, check and see if there is any belt adjustment by moving one of the pulleys.
Be blessed.
CRAFTSMAN SNOW THROWER DRIVE WHEELS WILL NOT MOVE
well if it is a walk behind style it could be the drive is out of adjustment, also craftsman were famous for the cable mounts bending and that will throw them out of adjustment. follow the traction drive linkage down to the base of the blowe and there should be an adjustment, or it will be under the belt gaurd or even on the handle on some.

I pulled the following from a snaper model similar to yours.
The snowthrower has two drive belts, one for the traction
drive-which transmits engine power to the wheels, and
a second for the auger drive-which transmits engine
power to the auger mechanism.
Each of these drive belts are of special construction and
should be replaced only with genuine replacement belts
which match the original equipment belts. These are
available from your dealer.
Traction Drive Belt Replacement
I pulled the following from a snapper model similar to yours. Believe it should help.
1. Disconnect spark plug wire and fasten it away from
the spark plug.
2. Remove belt cover. (Located in back of the discharge shute).
3. Pull the traction drive belt idler pulley arm (See
Figure 24) away from the belt to relieve tension, and
slide the belt off the engine pulley.
4. Slip the belt off from around the traction pulley (See
Figure 29) and pull the belt out of the unit between
the auger pulley and the traction pulley (the lower
cover need not be removed for this step).
5. Reverse the procedure to install the new belt. Be
sure there are no twists in the belt, and that the belt is
properly seated in the pulley grooves.
6. Replace the belt cover.
7. Start the unit, and check the traction drive for proper
operation. See "Traction Clutch Cable Adjustment"
for adjustment procedures.
There are also several videos on YouTube on changing snowthrowr belts. (Didn't see one for your blower, but most similar and should provide a good starting reference).
Auger replacement
Here is a manual for your snowblower. Yes, It's the same.
http://download.sears.com/own/spin_prod_674132601.pdf . Go to page 30, it a parts diagram of the blower and housing.
You will need to remove the pulley #66 from the back of the unit, the bearing retainer #1, and the auger bearing bolts #18. The whole unit will then slide out of the housing. You can then remove the augers and then take the worm gear apart. That will get you to the auger shaft.

Will snowblower attachment 190-832 fit a 2006 yard
Most of the Yard Machine lawn tractors have a welded tube front axle and they are not strong enough to handle the weight of a snow thrower. The snow thrower is generic but you will need the correct mounting brackets and center frame for your tractor. Go to the agrifab website, call the help number and ask them if they have a mounting kit for your tractor. You will need the model number off the nameplate on your tractor frame for them to help you.
