How can i transfer directly all infos (contacts etc...) from my old KX-TG7431C to my new KX-TG4033C?

when someone phones my house phone it tells them they cant leave a message dont no why its not letting them as it use to record messages can anyone tell me how to fix it maybe iv acidentually switcheds it of or something

A transistor amplifies and switches electronic signals.

Apparently your system is set in "Announce" mode instead of "Answer" mode. To switch modes, see the instructions on page 26 of the manual.

The CS5111-2 isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected to your phone line, consult its documentation. If you're subscribed to a voicemail system offered by your phone company, contact them for information.

To be able to register your replacement handset, you must de-register all the handsets from the VT2656 base unit.

Follow the steps below to de-register your handset(s) from the VT2656 base:

1. Take out the handset that sits on the base.
2. Unplug power from the base.
3. Hold down PAGE while reconnecting power. When the In Use light blinks, release the PAGE key.
4. Hold down PAGE key for 5 seconds. When the In Use light begins to flash, release the PAGE key.
5. The handset charging light will blink 5 times. Within 5 seconds from when it stops blinking, press PAGE once.

You must register the handset(s) by following the steps below:

1. After charging the handset, remove it from the cradle, the LCD display will read "SEARCHING FOR BASE".
2. Press "NEW" and then enter the 15-digit Base ID code, located on the underside of the VT2656 base unit.
3. Press "OK". The handset will display "PLEASE WAIT!!".
4. Wait approximately 15 seconds. The handset will display "FOUND BASE". If the handset displays "BASE BUSY TRY LATER", this indicates that the system is in use. Wait until the base unit is in the idle (on hook) mode and repeat steps 2-4.

parallel i believe refers to the ability to use multiple handsets on one line and one call. This phone has the ability to isolate a telephone call so that only the original answering handset can tune into the conversation. If you only have one of these models then this setting has no real function.

"No line" usually means that it is having trouble connecting to your telephone cable. Make sure to see that it is connected to the phone and to the wall. If it is, your cable might be faulty and you might want to replace it.

Please check the line input at the base, if the cord is damaged or the line has no dial tone, you'll receive that message in all headsets, you could test by connecting any basic wired phone to the same cord, if there's dial tone maybe you have a defective handsets base.

The main unit with the answering machine needs to be plugged into and outlet and also plugged into a working phone jack. The other units just plug into an outlet and speak to the main unit wirelessly. Make sure the main unit is plugged into a phone jack.

Kindly let us know the complete model number.

Press the function button once.Use the directional button to cycle through the options.Once you get to initial set or set rings option,press left or right to set the number the press the off button.If your option is initial set,press right,you have to scroll down to set answer machine options press right and set ring tones,I think up and down on directional pad.Good luck!
