The bulb and fuse keeps blowing out at the same
Verify that you have the correct fuses and lamp. install the fuse(and only the fuse,no lamp) and fire it up.listen for the fan.if the fuse holds and the fan runs, you probably have an issue with the dimmer on the main board. Chauvet may be able to send you a new one, but this model was discontinued in 2012, which may parts hard to get. Good Luck!

The light is not working and the bulb is not blown
These systems have many interlocks for safety. All doors must be closed completely. Also, there is usually a thermal fuse inside that may be blown. Did this stop during use or was it shutdown and now won't start again? If it was shutdown, perhaps it was unplugged before the fan stopped. If that is the case, the thermal fuse is likely to have been blown and will need to be replaced.
Let us know what you find.

How to make followlight with colours?
With DMX controller you command the color wheel within the unit to the desired color. I don't know if you can do this without a controller.

Can the color wheel be
The short answer is yes, but that opens up more questions.
1) Is this unit under warranty? If so, opening it up will void hte warranty.
2) Are you sure that the color wheel is the problem?
Can you describe the problem you are having? Perhaps there is another solution.
Thanks,

If you are using a LONG cable between, make sure you have terminated the far end with a termination resistor. The units should work together.

Have a q-mix chauvet stage light goes thru all
Chauvet uses a 16 amp Triac to control the power to many of the 120 volt lamps in their products. The Triac MAY be blown in your unit. If a bulb shorts, this blows the Triac.
I use Diigikey, com part number 497-2397-5 as the exact replacement. The generic number is BTA16-600BRG
Look for a part with this number on an aluminum plate and test the device. Also look for loose wires in the unit.

The followspot was on and
When he bulb blew out, it temporarily shorted and blew out the Triac that controls the voltage to the lamp. It will need to be replaced... A lot of the Chauvet units use a 16 amp, 600 volt Triac part number :
BTA16-600BRG
which is available from Digikey. It will be mounted on a heatsink.

Where is the thermal fuse located on the Follow
Follow the wires internally. Close to the lamp you will find part of the wire that looks covered in another shield or wrap. Usually the thermal fuse is soldered in-line there. Chauvet will supply parts directly. Per their website: Call our Customer Service Department at 800.762.1084 (press #4). Tell us what part you need, we will give you the part?s cost plus shipping. Then we request your credit card information, charge your credit card, place the order, and ship out the part to you. Hope this helps, Dan

Chauvet Light Color Wheel not working
I bought one of these new for our church and one of the colors would not work. I opened it up and found the control board. There was a line of diodes that were on the board. I found one of them bad. It had split into. It was a signal diode. I think you might be able to get these at radio shack. Use a small soldering iron and electronic solder( there is a difference.) Take the old one out and put the new one in and make sure you get them in the right way.(because it won't work or it will burn up) Hope this is helpful.

Have 2 Chauvet Intimidator Spots. 1 no longer
This unit got a 24volt lamps that came from a transformer. Usually the ceramic contact of the lamp get damaged and corroded after some time and can be replace. You should test at the same time that the voltage is allright with a multimeter. Most sound shop keep such ceramic in stock because its always broken....
