How to disable or reset a Prestige car alarm.
The valet switch,on the newer Prestige alarms, is a push button LED or, it's incorporated into the antenna. In both cases, turn the key to the on position, then press and release the valet switch. The alarm will respond with two chirps confirming that it is disarmed. You may now start the vehicle. After you successfully disarmed the alarm, turn the key to on position, press and hold the valet switch for approximately 5 seconds, the LED will come on solid. Turn the key off.The alarm is now in valet. You can take it out of valet in the same manner.

Alarm remote not functioning properly, no valet switch.
i would think the button is activating the fob, or when you put new battery in is it the right way or you may have pushed something inside and its come lose off the board, it would need opening up and having a look, and testing the switch.

Have a code alarm for car remote dont work and
Provided that your system is not programmed for coded override, the standard emergency override is as follows:
1. Enter the vehicle (the security system will trigger.)
2. Locate but do not press the valet/override switch yet (it should be a small black button installed under the dash within reach of the driver)
3. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
4. Press and release the emergency override button (The security system will turn off).
Note: If the automatic arming feature is enabled on your system. The security system will re-arm the next time the ignition key is turn off and the vehicle's doors are closed.
If the coded override feature was enabled by the installing dealer, you will need to follow these procedure:
1. Enter the vehicle (the security system will trigger).
2. Locate but do not press the valet/override switch yet (it should be a small black button installed under the dash within reach of the driver)
3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
4. Within 5 seconds press the emergency override button the number of times corresponding to the first digit of your personal code (Default digit is 1).
5. Within 5 seconds turn the ignition key OFF, then ON.
6. Within 5 seconds press the emergency override button the number of times corresponding to the second digit of your personal code (Default digit is 1).
7. Within 5 seconds turn the ignition key OFF, then ON.
8. If entered correctly the security system will turn off.
9. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
If the coded override feature is enabled and the code is lost, the system will need to be reprogrammed by an authorized dealer.

2002 Suburban with an PROOE4BS
As long as that alarm was not incorporated into the ECM you should be able to disable it. Locate the actual alarm unit and identify the main power wire. Trace it back to where it is spliced into a hot wire and you should find a fuse somewhere in the line you can remove to disable the alarm. You could just cut that hot wire as well but if you do make sure you tape up the hot side of the wire so it doesn't cause a short. This should disable the alarm but leave all other factory installed options working fine. Since the alarm activates when the brake is activated it sounds like they spliced the alarm into the brake light circuit which is a constant hot line.
