I would look at the head switch - this is located inside the tool just blow the trigger switch in the handle. There is a slide switch with a spring that actually makes the switch - make sure this is not broken and is in the correct position.
Also, check the fan connector in the head, I have seen these loosen up and back out.
If these don't solve the problem, I would suggest your problem is the molded circuit assy that contains the trigger switch and the head switch.

Locate the part number online by searching for the tool's model number "parts list" Once you have that information you can visit you local Fastenal and they can order it for you. Paslode will not sell directly to the public on spare parts. They will point you in the direction of a service center. I only know of two: Fastenal and Fasteners Inc.
The battery charger shows no light.
Plugged in and no light (with or without the battery inserted) tells you that the charger is bad and you will need a new one. Contact ITW Paslode or Fastener's Inc to purchase replacement.
Why doesnt my nail gun, straight nail finisher wont fire?
I need to have a little more information.
Is the green light flashing on the handle?
Does the fan run when you depress the nose?
The most common problem we see with these is bad / expired fuel - be sure to check the date stamped on the bottom of the fuel cell.
One other basic thing to check:
Bent lower probe - these are very prone to bending & that will prevent it from traveling fully and making the head switch inside.
If you still have problems please post more information about what the tool does / doesn't do and I'll talk you through troubleshooting.
Fire blade pasload pin gun doesn't punch the nail in
I'm assuming you've adjusted the depth gauge and this has had no affect? If so you need to do a full service before anything else. That's replacing both upper and lower o rings and give it a good clean. It sounds like your losing compression.
GUN FIRES BUT NAIL DOESN'T COME OUT
I am assuming the driver travels down but misses the nail, if so the end of the driver pin may be worn, a quick fix is to touch the end of the driver on a grinding wheel to reface it, ensure you remove the least amount of material possible to maintain the driver length, if this doesn't fix the problem you may need to replace the front plate
