I recently acquired an old miter saw from my father. It is a Ryobi TS251U 10 inch Miter Saw. I need the owners manual, but all I can find online are the parts diagram.

Ryobi made this saw design for other brands including Craftsman. You may have luck looking up Sears manuals. Sorry I don't have model numbers for you.

Ryobi CSB133L 7-1/4" Circular Saw is seized. Turns on. When squeeze trigger, motor hums like it is trying, but does not turn. Also cannot rotate by hand. Spindle lock is not engaged. Bad bearing???

Sounds like something is loading up the motor. Is the guard bumper fouling the blade? It may need to be pulled apart and cleaned out. Maybe try a blast of WD40 anywhere where there's a shaft housing and try rotating the motor shaft manually back and forth. Found a parts diagram that may be of use to you - https://www.partswarehouse.com/Ryobi-CSB133L-7-1-4-Laser-Circular-Saw-s/11362.htm

How do l stretch the belts on a Ryobi bt3000

The BT3000 actually has TWO v-belts! Here's a link at the end of this solution to an exploded diagram. Basically you have a major disassembly, but it really isn't that complicated Ryobi did outline the necessary steps in their manuals. The above website also has the owner manual if you need one.
  1. Unplug saw
  2. Remove the blade
  3. Lower mechanism all the way to the bottom
  4. Flip over saw and lay on it's top
  5. Remove the blade guard panel opposite the motor
  6. Unbolt the motor assembly and remove the belt cover
  7. Replace the broken belts
  8. Re-assemble (be careful not to cross-thread the bolts in the aluminum housings!)

Changing blade on Ryobi chop saw

Unplug the saw. If the blade is moving, wait for it to stop. If the blade arm is locked into its down position, push down slightly on the blade arm to release the tension on the blade arm lock pin. Pull out the lock pin to release the blade arm and allow it to move upward. 2 Rotate the lower blade guard upward and expose the Phillips-head screw that holds the blade bolt cover in place. Loosen the screw and rotate the blade bolt cover up and out of the way to expose the hex-head blade bolt. 3 Push the spindle lock button in and rotate the blade bolt until the spindle lock engages fully, stopping the ability of the blade bolt to rotate. 4 Loosen the blade bolt using a 10-millimeter/12-millimeter combination wrench. The blade bolt is lefthand threaded, which is the reverse of conventional threading. Turn the bolt clockwise to loosen and remove it. Note the placement of the outer washer and remove it as well. 5 Place a drop of machine oil on the inner blade bolt washer. Do not remove the inner washer. If it is missing, replace it before replacing the blade. 6 Slide the replacement saw blade up past the lower blade guard and onto the blade spindle. The blade teeth should point downward at the front of the saw. Saw blades often have rotation arrows that can help you double-check that the saw is installed to rotate the correct direction. 7 Press the spindle lock button in to lock the spindle and reinstall the blade bolt. The blade bolt will tighten in a counterclockwise direction. Replace the blade bolt cover and install the blade bolt cover screw. 8 Position a combination square to check that the blade is square to the saw fence and saw table. If the blade is not square, refer to the procedures in the manual for squaring the blade to the fence and table. Things You Will Need
  • 10-millimeter/12-millimeter combination wrench
  • 5-millimeter hex key
  • Combination square
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Machine oil
Tip
  • Overtightening bolts and screws can result in cross-threading. Cross-threading damage compromises the integrity of bolts and screws and can be a difficult error to correct.
Warning
  • Do not attempt to install a blade that is too thick in the saw. If the blade washer cannot engage the flats on the spindle, the blade is too thick for the saw.

My Ryobi 10" Compound Miter Saw (with laser) will not turn on when I push the button. Nothing happens at all. Its as if a safety switch needs to be turned off, but I'm not finding one.

you did not give model number. The saw should not be used without blade guard uncles you are to attached to your fingers. the power switch may be bad or it could be motor. Should not buy used power tools without ensuring that is operating properly. Here is a site that sell replacement pars. be careful that the price of repair parts plus the purchase price does not come to more than 50% the price of new tool https://www.toolpartsdirect.com/

Ryobi table saw turns on and runs fine... But as soon as you put a piece of wood into it it shuts down ???

The motor is overheating -- or the thermal cutout (safety) switch is malfunctioning. Have it checked by an industrial motor specialist; they're located in most cities.
