I think it has to do with the little valve on the lid sometimes mine gets stuck closed so I move it around a bit and it seems to fix it.

I searched and searched for this yesterday and my sister in law had one so we asked her but while waiting, we finally found on another forum, it means reaching right pressure. My sister also confirmed this. It did that for about 15 minutes and then started its cooking countdown. So you're good and we had delicious chicken stew!

No continuity on wire from plug tp circuit board is your answer. Replace the power cord. Personally, I never turn mine off after browning and wait for it to cool. That's a waste of time and electricity. Just start the pressure cycle once the browning is done.

It seems over heating problem and most likely sensor is defective ,check out with manfactures support line for replacement or service .do not try to fix it your self ,it is very dangerous !!!!
