Microwave stopped working. No power
please follow this steps and fix it. God bless youLine FuseEvery microwave oven has a line fuse. This fuse is designed to blow if too much current is drawn through the microwave circuitry. The fuse can be replaced, but the underlying issue should still be investigated and resolved. Otherwise the new fuse will blow also.Main Control BoardIf the microwave is not working the main control board may be defective. This is not common. When a microwave stops working the problem is usually the line fuse or within the high voltage circuit; either the high voltage capacitor, diode, transformer or magnetron.Thermal FuseIf the microwave is not working the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information.ThermoprotectorIf the microwave is not working the thermoprotector may have tripped. This is a safety device to prevent the microwave from overheating. It can be tested for continuity to see if it's blown.

Microwave Problems
Panasonic NN SD696S (SS) popout knob style (Costco): Clicked off; first occasionally, then frequently, then always after couple seconds (click from relay on circuit board behind keyboard). Checked fuse solution--too sad--not the problem. Checked Fan and various areas with VOM; then noticed browning of the two connectors on micro-switch by door-interlock?. Switch (marked Omron V-15G-3C25, 15amp, 125-250VAC). Inside points showed bad arcing, hence the heat to char the connector insulation. Bypassing the switch, the microwave works fine--Eureka!--which will do until replacement. Found Grainger has (w/o min quantity of 100), for $2.21 (2KRF8)--hope to pick up one Monday. Switch is kept in place by two plastic "toothed" fingers--should pop right back in if dimensions prove to be identical.

How do i change the
Hi,
Do you mean you want to replace light bulb for your microwave? If yes follow the instructions below;
- PLEASE UNPLUG YOUR MICROWAVE!
- Picture of your microwave with a phone or camera so that you don't forget how to assemble it back.
- Remove the two screws that holds grill. They are located at the edge of
the unit. Once the screws are out, rotate the grill forward from the
top. It will pop right out.
- Once the screws are out, rotate the grill forward from the top. The grill should pop right out.
- Locate a small access cavity on the left.
- Remove the screw that is located near the front of the microwave door.
- Lift up the sheet metal floor to access the bulb. The bulb is located under the sheet metal "floor" on the left.
- Place a flash light on the microwave floor and shine the light in the
light area. This will help you see better when you replace your bulb.
- Look for a small shiny reflector that hides the bulb. Use your two fingers to squeeze it a bit. Making sure not to bend it.
- The bulb connection should come right out.
- After you replaced the bulb, re secure the reflector and the sheet metal
floor with the single screw. Test the bulb by plugging in your
microwave.
- Once you see that the bulb works. Unplug your microwave again and re attach the front grill. You are now done.
I hope this helps to solve your problem.
Good luck.

It really depends why it is smoking.
I, due to the model number, suspect the invertor board, but it could be all sorts.
Call an aproved engineer and get it checked.
