Ringer off, need to re-install ringer. volume control does not put ringer back on
To turn your ringer back on, you do the following. For your handset, you push Menu, scroll to ringer settings, then push select, Press select again for ringer volume, then scroll up to turn on and increase the ringer volume. Then press Save once its at the desired volume. To change your base ringer, while it is not in use, push the ringer up button until you hear the desired setting. That should fix your problems.

Hello -need help with phone
Hi Nick,
There are no intensity adjustments I know of, and from my experience if the backlight is still working, but you get no display, it is either a bad display, or many times corrosion or a broken solder joint/component. I wish I could help you correct the problem with a few pushes of a button but not in this case. We do fix those models, you can check us out at

Forwarding calls on Panasonic tx-tg2357
You can transfer a call between units, but you cannot forward to a different phone number. Page 48 of the manual details this: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2357.PDF

No link to base Panasonic KX-TG2357
Astoundingly, the KXTG2357 works only with the original handsets it came
with! You cannot replace a handset by buying another one (same model,
of course) and register it with the base. How ridiculous is that? It's
like buying a lamp that works only with the bulb that came with it.
Replacement bulbs won't work. Well, Panasonic is one company I won't be
dealing with anymore! So, the solution is to get along with one less handset, or buy a new phone unit!

Caller ID suddenly stopped working on our KX-TG5771 cordless sets
I have had similar problem the way I solved it .
Unplug all units from ac
Take out all batterys
unplug phone line.
Put back in reverse order .
They allways seem to work after.
I have noticed that if the phones are charged on the wrong stations they seemed to get confused for some reason.
Hope this helps
