What is the difference between GO 730 and Go 730 Live?
The TomTom LIVE (service) allows your device to access (& use) real time traffic information, weather info, fixed and mobile speed cameras, etc. to determine and offer you options to use an alternate (better/faster) route ... e.g. avoid traffic jams, etc.
Do I have lifetime maps on my gps tomtom 730
If your TomTom GPS model number (when you originally purchased it new) is shown with an "M" ... e.g. GO 730M ... it indicates that the TomTom GPS unit you'd purchased includes free lifetime maps (updates) just for the map included in that unit, e.g. USA and Canada. If it shown with a T, e.g. GO 730TM ... it indicates that it also includes traffic data.
When you register the unit (on the TomTom website), and you log in to the TomTom website (using the TomTom HOME or MyDrive Connect), it will (automatically) tell you if/when you have an updated version of the map to download, to replace the current one on your device.

Enable Bluetooth on the Navigation device, and on the phone. Make your phone discoverable. You might have to enter a code such as 0000
Can not get uppdate or any cards downlodet, dont have original cd
Have you tried RE-SETTING the unit ??? You can usually reset the unit just by switching it OFF and then ON again.
If this fails you can either refer to your TT Instruction Manual OR go to the TT Website for assistance.
The problem MAY possibly also be in your USB transfer cable; so try another cable.
Even without the original CD you can still log-on to TT Website to download any updates and re-register your GPS. I assume that you have the correct TT Software on your computer??? There is TOMTOM HOME; MY TOMTOM; and the latest one MY DRIVE.
Which one will depend on your GPS Model; but the TT Website will tell you which one you should be using ... ok

try the reset
Note: A master reset will erase all waypoints or favorites and will restore your unit to the default factory settings.with
the unit off,and unplugged, try pressing and holding your finger on the low right
corner of the screen and slide the power switch to the on position
until you see the message "confirm if you really want to delete
all user data?" hit yes and let it restart. then it will set up the
nuvi again, so follow the prompts.
if that fails, hook up the nuvi to the web updater and get the latest update
(actually i would do this either way)

Can't connect my mobile phone to TomTom
Since the phone worked before the visibility issue is unlikely to be the cause. Try plugging your TomTom into your computer. In the my tomtom software, select manage my TomTom. Now find and select the item about mobile phone settings and delete it. That should fix the problem when you next ask the TomTom to set up a connection with your phone.
How can i get all the software back on my sat nav
The best way (if you have a tomtom) is to call support at 866-486-6866. Let them know what you want to do, and they will direct you to a web page, and ask for your username for tomtom home, and then tell you how to proceed. You just plug in you GPS into your computer afterwards, and your GPS will reload all of the maps and software that was on it before.
I think i'v wiped everything of my tomtom go 730
Go to tomtom website and download the software from them..Once downloaded you need to transfer it on the sd card.Once done,put your sd back into the tomtom and power on..There goes,it should install and work fine..Hope this helps.
