Cant open my browser
Such problem occurs time after time to many programs (probably they are registry errors which you can't fix that easily) - only thing you have to do is to download it again and reinstall:
Or just use one of the other browsers for a while.

Hi
Did you try to go back to last known configuration in the F8 option
or the repair option
failing that try a system restore in the F8 option back to when it was running ok
failing that also you could try to get back into safe mode
go to start run/search box
type in cmd
this Will bring up a black box
type in CHKDSK
that should check disk and hopefully give option of repair disk as well
but it will take some time but be patient
Or try to get to the acer recovery
i have never tried the recovery in safe mode but it hopefully will except it then restart into the recovery management
this is where you find it ( in or out of safe mode )
start programs
acer
acer empowering technology
acer erecovery management
recovery
follow on screen instructions
good luck
hope you get sorted
I have an Acer Aspire
Frequently ACER ASPIRE ONE A110 and A150 hang and give a black screen of death. Most probably this is due to the BIOS problems and if you want to boot them again, a BIOS updating is required.
First, download the required BIOS from the Acer site:http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ and unzip it by another computer. (Your netbook is already dead!)
Among the extracted files and folders, there is a folder namely Dos_Flash. Open it and there are four file items there like "3310, 3310.fd, FLASHIT, and readme.
Now rename 3310.fd as ZG5IA32.fd and FLASHIT as FLASHIT.EXE and keep the rest as they are.
Copy all these four files to a fully formated and blank USB stick. In this USB stick there should be no other files or folders than what you copied now ( 3310, ZG5IA32.fd, FLASHIT.EXE, readme )
Keeping this USB stick in hand go to the dead netbook. Switch off the device if it is already on. Insert the USB stick. Having the AC power and the battery connected to the device press and hold FN+Esc and simulatneously press the power button to turn on the netbook.
Release the FN and Esc buttons after a few seconds and now the power button will be blinking. In this stage press once the power button alone.
Now the device will start updating the BIOS, we can see the process as the LED of the USB stick flashes. In a few minutes-say less than 10 minutes-the system will restart and come to life again.
Don't disturb it during this process and wait until it comes to full level of operational condition to remove the USB stick.
Best of luck,

How can I reset the BIOS Password?
To reset the BIOS password read the information from this
link.
In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.
Was writing an email. and
If it died because there is no power, there is a solution available at the Acer support site, we have 2 Acer One's here and both have had to be patched also one is on it's second AC adapter and the other one is on it's third.
I have an Acer netbook
Seems like you might have a virus on your laptop. What I'd suggest is trying to boot your computer in safe mode and restoring it to an earlier date.
Hope this helps
Please can you tell me
Start tapping Alt+F10 or AltGr+F10 as soon as the computer powers up.
That will take you to the recovery screen.
Do a complete system recovery.
I forget the password of my acerone aoa110 how to
The only option is to do a full system recovery.
But you will lose all the datas while u do it.
Power on the netbook and keep tapping Alt+F10.
That will take u in to the recovery mode.
Select complete system recovery.
This process will take around 30 to 45 min and make sure u plug in the AC adapter.
Acer aoa100 would notboot from USB CD so ACER said
You will probably be best to take this notebook to your local computer store and ask them to check it out because if the bios upgrade has failed it may need to have the old bios chip removed and a new one fitted to the motherboard. You could possibly do this yourself, although it involves some soldering, but there's no point in wasting any time messing around trying other things if this is what needs to be done. You don't to get any replacement (if required) fitted at the store, but it may save you a lot of time and shouldn't cost too much just to get a health-check carried out.
Would you kindly rate my answer please if this has helped resolve the problem - thanks :)
Acer aspire one keeps on checking file system on C
Once you enter the setup and it loads the entire program, then you need to press the R key, which is for repairing the windows installation. This action will take you to the dos mode where further processing will be done. In the dos mode, system will ask you about installation place. Most of the people install their operating system in the C drive, which comes at number 1 option, so you need to press option 1. However, if you have so many partitions or you have installed the operating system then you need to choose the option according to your drive name. Here you need to enter your password as well, but if you have not set any password then you can simply press enter.
*Then there will be a c:\WINDOWS> command in a dos mode where you need to write, "Copy d:\i386\ntldr c:\windows. However, if you have different place of your installed operating system then you will write the address of that drive. This is the whole process and now you can eject the cd and can press exit to restart the system. Now this process will copy the correct NTLDR file from installation disk to your hard drive by making your system in the working condition.

My acer aspire one aoa110-1588 will not turn on,
First take the battery off and try turning it on with just the ac adapter. If it works then it's your battery. If it doesn't then go to a local pc shop, radio shack, or electronics store and they should let you try another power supply before you buy one. If that solves the problem you can either purchase it there or order it online from ebay or another site. If that still does not work then the problem is internal and that could be as simple as replacing the dc jack or something else internal and that will require a trip to the pc repair shop. Good Luck.
How do i use my
Hi,
Before you try to restore the computer with CD, I would advise to try to restore through partion you can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Altgr" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Altgr+f10 or Alt+F10 (try both), it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction. NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.
If the above steps fails, then try with Recovery CD. to do so, insert the System Disk (CD1), turn Off the computer, now as soon as you turn ON the computer keepon tapping F12, it will give an option for CD/DVDROM, select CD/DVD ROM or USB DVDROM and follow the onscreen instructions.
Thanks and regards,

Hi,
You've lost your windows partition.
Hold the F8 button down during the startup text, and choose 'Repair my computer' from the options.
Pick something like 'Return to factory settings'
If you don't have the 'Repair my computer option' you need to do a clean install by starting up from a genuine windows cd/dvd.
