looks like the heating element has an issue, could be as simple as a fuse blown, or the element itself. YES, get a repairman to have a look.

It's the door switch - the dryer thinks the door's still shut, so doesn't stop. You can buy a replacement switch from Miele and fit it, or get a Miele tech to come out, but if you're lucky you might fix it by undoing the torx screws either side and jiggling a bit until the microswitch starts co-operating again! The other possibility (less likely, but far more expensive) is that it's a logic fault (so main board replacement), or some sort of short somewhere other than by the switch that's telling the board the door switch is still closed when it's not.

i don't know. first guess is regular drying cycle makes predetermined heat levels and sensor that shuts off heat and dryer when it decides clothes are dry. 20/40 minute choices may be fan only unless there is a manual temperature control that you can set eg. off/low/med/high..

it could be the thermostat is getting to hot. check to make sure your vent is not clogged causing to over heat thus tripping the breaker. also if you are versed enough to take machine apart to look at the blower motor sometimes known as a squirral cage, material can build up in that causing it not to spin thus tripping a breaker

The drum is overloaded (too much laundry), or there is a problem with the moisture sensor not registering the moisture content of the laundry correctly.

This is a pretty complex task - but Remove top lid remove control panel remove front panel and door remove the right side panel remove the front support panel ( supports the drum) the impeller will now be seen lower right of machine Hold motor pulley while loosening impeller nut Replace impeller

Most likely the Brushes on the Moisture sensor need to be replaced - it should work on timed dry as this function doesn't use the brushes

THEY ARE USUALLY CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. SWITCH BACK AND FORTH, THEN TO ON. IF YOUR HOME USES SCREW IN FUSES, TAKE THEM OUT AND TEST THEM WITH A METER. OR PUT IN NEW ONES. SHUT DRYER DOOR. TURN ON DRYER. IF DRYER HAS PLUG FAULT THERE, I DON'T KNOW. BE EXTRA SAFE WHEN WORKING NEAR ELECTRICTY. SOMEONE WITH KNOWLEDGE AND A SUITABLE METER COULD CHECK YOUR LARGE 4 WIRE WALL RECEPTICAL FOR YOUR DRYER. {LOOKING BACK, IT IS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE. You most likely didn’t wire the new cord correctly.

Possible needs a new igniter.
