LG LWHD2400HR Wall/Window Air Conditioner - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How can I turn on
The Energy Saver mode is activated by using the hand held remote control, that comes with the unit. Pressing the Energy Saver button activates it. Once activated the fan will shut OFF when the the compressor does. After which, about every 3 minutes the fan will turn ON to check the room air to determine if cooling is needed.
It sounds like, you're missing the hand held remote control?

My LG air conditioner is rattling. It is brand new
Many things can cause this, blower out of balance, loose compressor mounts, (did the instructions specify removing a shipping bolt?) sometimes units are shipped with a bolt to hold the compressor down that has to be removed. If not, I would return it where I bought it..

Lg dual inverter stuck in defrost
It sounds like you were experiencing an issue with one of the indoor units on your LG dual inverter air conditioner, where it was stuck in defrost mode while the other unit was working properly in heating mode.
It sounds like you've already replaced the control board of the indoor unit that was stuck in defrost mode and it fixed the problem. The control board is responsible for controlling the various functions of the air conditioner and it is a common cause of malfunction in air conditioning systems.
It's great that you've been able to fix the issue, but if the problem comes back or you're experiencing other issues, it's best to contact LG's customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.
It's important to note that troubleshooting and repairing air conditioners can be dangerous, especially if you're not familiar with the device, so it's best to contact a professional technician if you're not comfortable working with it.

LG 4 zone Mini Split error - CH35 triggered with specific Wall Mount.
These units cool better than they heat, and if the temperature ever drops far into minus 'C digits, they don't work at all.
I have found that turning off all power for a minimum of two hours will reset most errors,. When you switch the breaker back on, you will hear relays clicking as part of the self testing. Wait 15 minutes before operating the unit.
It sounds like your installer doesn't want to deal with you any longer. The engineers get very basic LG Service training, so at stages they are completely lost. I was advised not to buy LG and went with Fujitsu, but they have their own problems as it seems they all do!
Phone LG Support on Monday and ask their advice, don't let them just say call for service. Tell them you want to speak with a technician that does the training sessions and seminars.

LG Art Cool Gallery version A12AW1 won't start heating?
Question edited for clarity and spelling 'Gallery' and toss in some CAPS.
Question moved from LG Office Equipment Category.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to your question.
Try disconnecting the power at the breaker for at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. This fully resets the units and it will do a Self Test when you switch it back on. Wait 15 minutes before operating it. 5 Blinks is a loss of communication.

My lg split ac non inverter is working fine but missing command beep
- Check the remote control: Look for a button on your remote control labeled "Beep" or "Sound". Press this button to turn the beep sound back on .
- Check the settings: If you can't find a "Beep" or "Sound" button on your remote control, check the settings menu on your AC unit. Look for an option to turn the beep sound on or off and make sure it's turned on .
- Reset the AC unit: If neither of these steps work, try resetting your AC unit to its factory default settings. To do this, turn off the AC unit and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on .
If none of these steps work, it's best to contact a professional or LG's service center for further assistance.
I hope this helps!

LG Microwave MG 6045WB - turn table not rotating
If the turntable in your LG microwave (model MG 6045WB) is not rotating even after replacing the motor, there could be a few other possible causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the turntable guide: The turntable guide is a small plastic piece that fits under the turntable and keeps it centered. If this guide is worn or broken, it could prevent the turntable from rotating. Check the guide and replace it if necessary.
- Inspect the turntable motor coupler: The coupler connects the motor shaft to the turntable. If this coupler is worn or broken, the motor will not be able to turn the turntable. Inspect the coupler and replace it if necessary.
- Test the door switch: The door switch is a safety feature that prevents the microwave from operating when the door is open. If the door switch is faulty or not aligned properly, it can prevent the turntable from rotating. Test the door switch and replace it if necessary.
- Check the control board: The control board is responsible for sending power to the turntable motor. If the control board is faulty, it may not be sending power to the motor. Check the control board and replace it if necessary.
If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a professional for further diagnosis and repair.

Having a defrost problem with my LG refrigerator. The heater is 348 Ohms. Do I need to replace the heater
If you are supplying direct current to the heater coil and it is not heating up, then it is likely that the heater coil is faulty and needs to be replaced. The fact that the resistance of the heater coil is 348 ohms suggests that it may be within the expected range for the heater, but this alone does not guarantee that the heater is functioning properly.
Before replacing the heater coil, however, it is important to ensure that there are no other issues with the defrost system. For example, a faulty defrost thermostat or defrost timer can also cause defrost problems in a refrigerator.
It is recommended that you consult with a qualified technician or the manufacturer of your LG refrigerator for assistance in diagnosing and repairing the defrost problem. They will be able to provide more specific guidance on what steps to take next to resolve the issue.
