That would most likely be the inverter/ballast part of your powerboard and may simply need to be re-soldered. The flashing usually occurs when your speakers rumble due to volume and vibration. Try muting your television and see if the flashing decreases. If it does, then you simply have a weak solder joint that can be repaired inexpensively.

I would not keep a new LCD TV that has immediate problems. I would get a refund and purchase a more standard brand television. Experience has taught me that if one has problems immediately with an LCD TV itself, it is likely to continue to be problematic.

If the boards are not the same then this is your problem, u need the correct inverter board. and yes ground has alot to do with voltages working properly. what causes a white or light screen mostly is the t-conn board this is usually a small board at the top under a shield, if this set has one then it will be worth checking out too.

Sounds like a burn in, this is common when some still image is left on the tv screen for sometime, the only hope is to get to a white screen or static screen and let set for awhile, like the old days when you didn't have cable or any input and the tv just frowns.

Replace bad electrolytic caps on power supply board or just replace the whole power supply and that will fix your problem.

they sell kits at most big box stores and they run for around the 20$ range . most other cleaners will damage your display if used to clean it as they contain ammonia based agents that result in blue hazed look to the panel

You need to select HDMI 2 in tv to get bluray playback picture and sound.
Select HDMI 2 source by either tv remote or buttons on tv itself then tv will show bluray picture.

Well, it may have bad power supply module, check the fuses, caps and see if it atleast has the 5vdc standby voltages.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series. Please post back what you find.

If the front LCD panel is physically broke, the LCD panel would need to be replaced. The cost of doing this would exceed buying a replacement set. Most LCD panels in this size would cost about 600.00 to 700.00 for the part, plus what ever the cost of labor.

It ur Vizio tv,The power supply board is the problems.The transformers in the power supply board have gaps in the transformers.The high voltage curents flow that make that buzzing noise.
