Frame periodically freezes on Vizio 37'' TV

Your statement is confusing. Why? because you stated " This tv is hooked up to an Antenna with a Booster", then you said it's connected to Cable Tv. I will answer this both ways for you.
If your on an Outside Antenna or Rabbit Ears, even with a booster, if the signal is not good prior to getting to the antenna then a booster only amplifies what it see's and that may be as we call it, "garbage". In a HDTV the freezing can happen when that situation is at hand, however if you are on Cable and we know the signal is clean ( we hope? ) then the problem is with the software in the set and should be looked at by a service center, or if it's right out of the box then I would exchange it.
In digital technology there's no maybe, it's yes or no! If the signal is not what's required, then you get what your experiencing now, IF, there's nothing wrong with the set, and there may be. I just repaired another brand doing the same thing and it was the Main Control Module. So, I hope I helped you in isolating the problem. Please keep me posted...

Trying to remove/replace power fuse on a 2008

Hi,
You can use the flat screw driver, place the flat side of the screwdriver under the stuck fuse and gentle turn the screwdriver to lift the stuck fuse on its holder. You can also use long nose plier to lift it up.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Sound is gone. all we have is a steady static. a

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be, attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound OK there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. Please post back what you find. You may be better off if the sound does work through the PC speakers, to get the TV repaired, it will be more than $100 and up.

My vizio 42 in lcd turns off when i press the rgb

Make sure you have the correct colours matching; R to R, B to B and G to G. I think the blue carries the sync signal. If the tv doesn't get the sync signal from the laptop (the laptop is off or thye cabling is mixed up) it will shut itself off.

I can't be sure if this is the cure but I have 50" vizio plasma which won't stay on if you select and unconnected input.

How do I clean my flat panel tv?

You can go to walmart or electronics store and buy electronics wipes. They will be in the electronics section. They are very safe for your lcd screen or use very soft cloth with water, dont recommend any chemicals.

Tv is on, screen is black. Sound is working.

tuner/decorder is gone out you would need to purchase a new decorder board for this. Try hooking up something on the scart connections and diagnost the tuner but if it does not change channels and its not turning off you got a problem with the decoder/tuner board.

this would cost around $250 for the replacment. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

My vizio tv turns on but had no display

UNPOWERED INPUT DEVICE

Check to make sure the device you're trying to use with your TV is plugged in and turned on. While it may seem like a silly oversight, it is possible that you switched on your TV and didn't actually turn on your DVD player, gaming console or whatever device you're trying to enjoy. If you tried to use a remote to turn on the device, check that the batteries still have a charge and turn on the device using its built-in power button. TIP The problem may be your input device itself. Check your TV with other devices and see if it displays them properly. If it does, contact customer support for your device for more detailed troubleshooting instructions

WRONG INPUT CHANNEL

Make sure that your TV is on the right input channel for the device you're trying to use. When your TV isn't switched to the right channel, no visual or audio input from the device will display on your screen or through your speakers. Turn on the input device and press the Input button on your remote to cycle through your input channels until you see the device's display on your screen.

AV CONNECTION PROBLEMS

If you're on the right input channel and your device is turned on, there may be a problem with the physical connection between the device and your TV. Make sure that all cable connections are secure, and also that all cables are connected to the In ports on your TV and the Out ports on your input device. If you're using a connection that has color-coded plugs, make sure the connectors are inserted into their appropriate color-coded ports. If you're using an HDMI connection, make sure that the cable you're using is compliant with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection, especially if your TV and input device are both HDCP-enabled. HDCP is a copy protection system that prevents the copying of digital video and audio content as it travels over the connection. Systems connected with non-compliant cables won't display any video or audio conten

FROZEN TV

Periodically a TV may freeze up, showing that it's still turned on but not actually displaying any information from your input device or the TV's menu system. To fix a freeze, power cycling is the best solution. TEP 1 Turn off the TV by pressing and holding the Power button on the cabinet until the TV powers down. STEP 2 Unplug the TV from the wall power outlet. STEP 3 Press and hold the Power button on the cabinet for 30 seconds, and then release it. STEP 4 Plug the TV back in and turn it back on using the Power button on the cabinet or your remote control.

HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE FAULT

If everything is correctly set up, powered on and on the right channel and you still aren't getting any picture or sound, there may be a hardware or software fault in your TV. The best way to check is to press the menu button on your TV or remote and see if the on-screen menu appears. If the menu doesn't appear, contact repair
