No picture no sound just a black screen

I just repaired this LCD tv exact same model. symptoms- when the tv turns on, all I get is a black screen with blinking green light. No other error codes. It was crazy frustrating trouble shooting this. I measured the transformers on the master and slave inverter board with a multi meter. The resistance should be 1.31 k ohms. All but one measured within the specs except one. I get an OL reading. I took a chance to order this part on eBay for 13 dollars. After soldering it, the resistance for all of the transformers were back to specs. The tv powered on and stayed on. Works good as new. If anyone has the this similar issue I would advice testing the mini transformers on your master and slave inverter board. My email is [email protected] for help. lcc5255u aquos fixed lcc5255u aquos resolved

No audio output

If you do a factory initialization, nothing wrong could happen, except with its tuning settings. All the setting in the memory will be cleared, and the set will work as if it has been bought new. You should have to re-tune it and do all personalized settings again. That's all. In my view, for this case, doing a factory initialization will be better. If you do not get audio even after factory initialization, you should have to check its mother board's audio processor section circuit for the fault. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.

Power green light blinking

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom (look for discoloration of the circuit board around the base of the capacitor) need to be replaced. If you repeatedly turn it off and on, eventually it'll probably stay on, but every time you turn it off, the unit will get harder and harder to start up until one day it just won't.Sometimes you have to do the opposite to start it up and unplug it for some time and then try again. If you aren't tech savvy, don't worry, read the rest of this solution and watch the videos. If you are handy with a soldering iron and can identify the power supply and/or inverter / FM section for the backlights, an inexpensive handful of capacitors will likely fix you right up.Match the capacitance on the capacitors. Go over voltage if you can, and still have them fit.IE - it's not a bad idea to replace a 10V cap with a 16V or 25V or even a 50V, but don't replace a 680uF cap with a 500uF or a 1000uF (unless you are SURE it's only doing supply output ripple filtering, and even then, you should go OVER, not under the uF rating). Most of the caps that go are 10V 1000uF or 3300uF.I found some great videos of the procedure (for many Samsungs with the same issue) on youtube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm51C_RDIZEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNHHrgX_6cs&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l0AUj8QUkg&NR=1&feature=fvwphttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7b_nTaZYcU&feature=relatedBacklight related video here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XoF6QZ1dmw&feature=relatedAs you can see, this issue spans plasma TVs, as well as large and small LCD TVs and monitors, amplifiers, computer power supplies and motherboards, and other electronic equipment. The parts are cheap, and skill required is minimal. A great parts source is Digi-Key, and you can order the parts online at www.digikey.comThey typically cost under a dollar a piece plus a flat shipping rate. The parts usually arrive one business day later. If you watch the third video, you will see that even someone with no soldering experience can perform these repairs as demonstrated by the woman in the video.

It's sharp 52 inch lcd

Hello,

Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out power transistor and zener diode...if otherwise, Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help in solving the problem....
