Where at are the fuses
follow the power cord inside the set to the main fuse that it goes almost directly to----not all sets will have another fuse---if they do they will be apparent on or between the other boards. One of the reasons for a set to have only one fuse is cost, and fuses in some other areas may not be needed as the sets have shutdown circuits that detect a short or a issue and simply kill the power supply or shut it down.

Sanyo plasma # 42840 will not turn on. swaped boards & it still does not work
Which board did you swap? I would first suspect the SC and SS boards first (or the x and y sustain boards) different termanology for different brands it seems. I would try the x main first. The easiest thing to do is unplug the power from the x main and then plug in the power cord, if it starts up, (you still wont get a picture but wont click.) you know its that board, if same result, try the y main.

I have a Sanyo 50"
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems to be the issue with Y-main however, buffer and the logic board should also be checked. These boards are located on the right side of the unit and to check them you’ll have to open the back of the unit. Once you have opened the back also check for any blown/bulged capacitors. All this is only recommended if you have electrical expertise & know how to solder/re-solder components as these units contain high voltages even when in off position. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
How can i fix audio on my tv
Use a diagnostic tool like DVD player that works on other TV sets. Plus it in and see if you get audio that way. If you never get audio the set may need a Technician to look at it.
