Model number PDP4210EA1 DOES NOT COME ON AND THERE IS NO SOUND
The first thing any good service person does is check the power source. Make sure the socket and cabel are working. It is very common in new moitors to have inferior caps made in china especially in the power supply boards. If you are handy you may check youtube where several folks supplied videos how to replace the caps (capacitors) which usually cause this problem. You will need to be careful sice caps can store a lethal charge. They can be discharged by shorting out with a heavy screw drive. don\'t touch the metal. Capacitors that look puffy at the top are usually the culprits but it is adviceable to change all of them out. In most casess the total number of caps for each monitor cost me under $10. You will need a soldering gun and solder sucker. If you have a meter that reads capacitence that would be good. In order to check with a meter at least one post must be dixconnected. Pat attention to the negative and positive post on the caps. they can expode. I like to draw diagrams of where the wires go and label them with numbers written on tap.

Why i cant find power button
There are always buttons on the bezel.they wont be on the back. Not likely on the bottom unless an area sticks out.they will be flush and same color as bezel so hard to see but easy to feel. Run your fingers along the sides and top, bottom if it sticks out anywhere. What model tv do you have?

I have a 42 in Sanyo DP42647. If there is something like a logo or words that stay on the screen for more than a few seconds it looks like it is burned in. It eventually fades but by the time one fa
Cause of screen burn typically is pixels are no longer showing full range of color. Typically a shop would cycle screens or blocks of very bright colors alternating colors to unstick any pixels not showing full range of some color. Setting tv back to factory default then adjusting could help also turning up brightness. Change color settings from cool to warm could help. Could also be a refresh rate. Verify tv is set to display at same rate as input device like cable box set to output 1080i while tv native is 720p. Just because there is a pic doesn't mean they are synced.if tv has to convert signal from 1080i to 540i then resize to fit 720p tv it may slow refresh rate tv is trying to display progressive scan image but not enough data is coming in so it redisplays previous image on every other line.and new data on every other line.
solution is check output video settings of source to match native resolution of tv. Hd cable box this is common as tech sets output to high resolution 1080i most inexpensive tv are 720p
