Broksonic CCVG-3276 32 in. LCD TV Questions & Answers
Will not come on
Check the outlet in the wall then If your TV still won't power on the next place to check is the wall outlet. Try plugging your television into a different electrical outlet to see if that fixes the problem. Or unplug the TV and plug something else into that same outlet to see if it is getting any power. If something else is working in the power outlet that your TV is plugged into then the TV is not working anymore and needs to either be repaired or buy a new TV or the outlet is having issues and needs to be fixed or the fuse could be blown and needs to be turned back on.

My TV has sound but
Hi
Most likely it's a faulty inverter board. The inverter is what takes the line volts from your home outlet and converts it down to a voltage that the backlights can use. Otherwise they would be damaged instantly! A good way to make sure that everything is working except the inverter is to get the room as dark as possible and shine a flashlight at the TV while it's on and see if you can see anything on the screen. If you can see images, then it's the inverter. If not then it may be something else

I have a Broksonic ccvg-3285. It is a 32" LCD +
You may have 24vdc power supply problem, bad backlight inverter board/s, main board not sending out signal to turn on the 24vdc supply and the backlights board, bad T-CON board.
Please try and read the link below to get more understanding.
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

If not, repeat Steps 3 through 5 using the next code on the list.Known Broksonic codes are 1112, 1432, 2112

Sound thru tv. from my new computer
How do you hook up the TV to the PC? HDMI or VGA cable. There should be a green audio line mini-phone jack to hook up the audio cable from the PC to the TV using mini-stereo phone plugs.
Please clarify your setup.

Red standby light is on.... when you attempt to
Plasma and LCD TV sets are prone to having capacitors in the power supply section fail. This is the most likely cause for the probem you describe. When capacitors fail your will commonly see one or more of the following symptoms.
- No video, Power light is on or blinking.
- TV is making a clicking noise.
- TV takes a while to come on
- Screen is very dim or flickers.
Again, You can get a power supply repair kit with the parts, detailed instructions, and support from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com . Or just click here to see more details on their kit.
Here are pictures of capacitors...Notice that the ones below look bloated. They have failed and will need to be repalced.
Capacitor being replaced! Fairly easy DIY fix.

Powers on, red light goes green, "Please Wait"
More than likely the main board or the inverter is bad. However, the first thing I always look for if you're going to take it apart yourself is the power supply. If you see capacitors that are bulging then you have a fixable problem. If it comes to board replacement or having a repairman like myself solve the problem most of the time you get into costs that exceed replacement value. Not the price you paid for it but the cost of a comparable unit now. The model number you posted doesn't come up for me in our system but your description is probably a main board failure. The test I would do is to unplug the set. Then plug it back in after 30 seconds. Then turn it on and check to make sure you are on the right input or channel. Make sure the cable box,dvd player or antenna is hooked up properly. And once you have done all this. Begin to suspect the tv as the problem. One more test is to hook up a different television to the equipment that you use on the Broksonic and make sure it works. I hope this was helpful. Let me know if I can do anything more. Good Luck, Russmann.

The red power standby light is on. Turn on the TV
Hello repairdud304,
This is a common problem with Broksonic LCD televisions. (If you want to look them up you can search by their manufacturer Orion.) The problem lays within the power supply and a uneven voltage processor. This happens for no reason sometimes, but what acutaly happens is that a chip controls the amount of voltage coming into the tube. This chip has malfunctioned and works for about 15-20 seconds before resetting. This needs to be replaced. It can be costly. I'll leave you with some links that may help you in your voyage into Television Repair Land. Good Luck!!
