you have a faulty capacitor it the circuit of your camera
It holds the needed voltage to operate correctly
The cost to repair it generally is more than the cost of a replacement camera sorry to say

Unfortunately, these "waterproof" cameras don't always work as advertised. If the camera is still under warranty, I'd start there. It may be too late for this, but an old trick to dry out electronics is to put it in a bag of white rice for a few days to absorb moisture. It's a long shot, but I revived a wet cell phone once this way.

Just try to restart your camera then remove the battery and the memory card for 2 mins. then put them back in

after that it will be fixed. ^_^

Here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the camera: Dry the camera, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, camera and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped camera in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your camera because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the camera. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Try this, set the dial to P, then open the battery door and then press the Menu button and OK button together for about 5 seconds. If you see something in the screen like Olympus? Then press the Menu and OK button together again for another 5 seconds, this is a hard reset and hope it fixes your problem?

Most brands of cameras deliver a CD with the camera, containing software, needed to backup, transfer and work with the pictures you shot, to a computer. Most of the time there is software is for both, Windows and MAC. Before you connect the camera to any computer, you should install the software. The disk also has the drivers for the old operating systems. If you lost the CD, or just don't know where it is right now, you can go to the site of your camera brand and try to download the software you need. For that look under support. If your camera is old, and the brand does not exist anymore, try a freeware picture transfer / editing software pack. Like Gimp or Adobe Photoshop elements. Just connecting a camera to a computer causes two things. The camera shuts down, and the computer won't recognise the camera. So nothing works. If you can't get software form your brand, you always can install other generic software like Ulead, Pixir, BeFunkey, Gimp, Photoshop express. Or if that is not possible you could install an external memory card reader and download the pictures via de memory card reader.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive.
