Restore

I actually have one of these, I just went and got Fedora 10 (Fedora version of Red Hat Linux vs. the pre-installed Linpus version of Red Hat Linux) and installed it instead. Anyways, there should be a way to take the cd, load it onto another computer, and have it put itself on an empty 2GB (or bigger) USB thumb drive if you can't get a cd loaded onto it. I did this several times before I went to Fedora 10, and the wireless works in Fedora 10.

Describe your intel (r) atom (TM) cpu N270 Acer

The BIOS cannot detect anything attached where the boot source should be. It almost always means that the hard disk has died - you will have to replace it. But before doing that check in the BIOS that the boot order is the correct one: 1 - hard disk; 2 - removable device; 3 - disabled.

Hello
1. Restore your unit back to factory default via boot up on the ACER screen, hold down ALT and tap F10.

If that doesn't work, your unit was shipped with recovery cd's
Hope this helps
