if it keeps filling and overflowing you have a bad water valve on the back of the fridge.the part number is WR57X10027 and the valve is around 75 dollars.first thing lift the arm or shut off the ice maker so it won't leak anymore, you're missing a few letters off of the model number so when you call your parts store give them the full model number, open the fridge door, look up on the right hand side wall up near the ceiling and give them the model number to make sure you get the correct valve, shut off the water supply to the fridge, then have the new valve next to the old valve when you remove a water line from the old valve just connect it to the new valve,do this until everything is changed out and the new valve is in place, turn on the water supply and you can check the ice maker to make sure it doesn't overflow.you can manually start the ice maker by grabbing the plastic arms of the ice maker and pull them forwards slowly until the arms start to advance on their own, you'll hear the water valve fill the ice maker and then you can watch it fill to see if the water is filling it correctly and i'm sure you'll be fine with the new water valve installed
Whenever the unit has reached a failure mode, the LED will flash, and the unit will shut down. If the failure was caused during a harvest cycle which lasted more than 16 minutes, the LED will remain flashing on & off in halfsecond increments. If the failure is caused by a faulty bin thermistor, (not detected), the LED will remain flashing on & off in 1-second increments. These are the only two failures that cause the unit to reach a shutdown failure mode. x During the Clean cycle, the control board performs the diagnostics first. If the bin thermistor is not detected, the LED will flash two times. This is followed by a 3-second delay. If the evaporator thermistor is not detected, the LED will flash on five times. This will be followed by a 3-second delay. The LED will then come back on, and remain on for the remainder of the Clean cycle, and until the unit is turned back on.
The ice maker will not make ice with the water running in contently this keeps the water temp to high. Turn machine off, cut water supply off to machine, remove water inlet valve, ether take valve apart and rebuild it or replace the water inlet valve. Reassemble in reverse order and machine should make ice.
Is the cutting grid getting warm if just warm make sure you don't have any loose wires supplying power to grid. Check grid cutting transformer to make sure it is working. make sure grid is clean. If you are getting power to cutting grid and it's not getting warm then cube let cutter grid is bad. If this needs to be replaced you might thank about a new machine the cost for this part is around 480.00 part number AP2068335
It's best to have a qualified service company properlly diagnose your appliance failure. Something to check would be removing the to kick grill, and making the sure the condenser coil is clean and free of dust. It's rare that you would have a freon issue, but may be experiencing a sealed system issue such as an internal leaking reversing valve allowing the freon to be channeled in two directions within the system instead of just one. you need to look on the model number plate it will tell you how many oz of refrigerant it will take and what kind. you will need to recover old refrigerant after you install new compressor and a dryer pull a 300 micron vacuum on the system then weigh in the right amount of refrigerant per the information plate on machine.
Ice maker wire signal arm is being held down by some item in the freezer. Move item and release wire signal arm. Any ice cubes that are frozen together over the wire signal arm. the ice rises in the ice bucket and pushes the wire signal arm up and this is what stops ice production as ice is used then arm comes down and starts ice production all over again. if there is nothing holding arm down then you will need to replace ice maker.
