I have a GE Profile 30" Ceran Schot cooktop mottle
If there was sugar in the item that boiled over, it will not come off it etches the glass. If it was with out sugar you might try a razer blade to scrape it off it will not hurt the glass if you use it flat

I have a GE Profile
I don't think that it is burned into the glass ..cause it is made specially for high temperatures..I would remove the glass ..and place it in a large pot ..with caustic soda ..there is available on the detergents department....but pay attention on hands cause ..this stuff burns the flash into soap ..its like the sulfuric acid....
and some detergent too..and boil it at a low flame ..for about half an hour..and it will clean up nicely ..

I have a similar problem with my GE Profile stove
one of the ignitor switches is shorted out.sometimes it is moisture inside and it happens after boilover or spraying some liquid for cleaning.remove the knobs and try a hair dryer to dry them or leave the unit unplugged for some days.it should work fine after this ,if not then the bad switch needs to be replaced.always avoid boilovers and spraying any cleaning liquid for cleaning.

Ge monogram induction cooktop error F
The induction cooktop will flash "F" when cookware has been removed from the surface; cookware is not present when the unit is turned on; or cookware is not centered on the element.
Position the cookware properly over the center of the cooking surface if the error code "F" flashes. Use only induction cookware and use a bigger pan, as the error code "F" indicates that the pan is too small for the cooking element.
