Great pictures look flat and dull when sent as e-mail attachments

probably is the computer,get one of your photos developed from a machine and see if it comes out well,then you'll know if its the camera or the computer.

I have new Canon 500d but i can't work out the LCD

I wish you know that you need to press LIVEVIEW button marked red Dot to enter live view mode.
Further more it will work in P,T,A,M modes and video camera modes only.Still it does not show live view the camera has a fault.

I have a Canon T1i Rebel. My aperture is frozen in manual mode

Not knowing your experience level, I want to make sure that you are (in the Manual mode) attempting to change the aperture by holding the aperture button with your thumb while rotating the main dial to increase or decrease the aperture value. If you are doing this, and the aperture value isn't changing, the camera needs service. You are probably still under warranty, so this should not cost you anything.

In the manual mode, you have to set the focus (distance to subject), aperture and shutter speed. Did you set all of them before you shot the picture?

My photos look blurry not focused

check and make sure you do not have the soft focus turned on. that will make the pictures "soft" in focus or seem out of focus.

My computer or memory card wont allow me to load my pictures

Its a problem of your card. your memory card may infected by virus so scan the card by updated virusfree conputer. If there is nothing gonna find then remember one more thing that all memory card have a life time. If the card corss the limit of lifetime image capacity that time its happend like these way.

Canon Rebel T1i

I have the canon 70 -300 sitting right here beside me on my XTi, it also fits my XSi and all my EOS mount film bodies. one thing about canon EOS lenses and bodies: They fit and work together. Yes there are cheaper lenses, but I just answered another question on this website from somebody who has a 3rd party lens (and a high quality lens ta-boot) that will not work on his canon. This is typical of canon. They do not release all of their codes to 3rd party manufactures. Your friend just bought a premium camera, do not let him put a lesser lens on the camera, he will not be happy and the savings will not be that significant to make up the difference...

Canon 500d Screen won't display object to be shot

First of all, the live view mode will work only in creative zones, that is from mode P. P, Tv, Av, M modes. Put the camera into one of these modes and push the Set button that is located behind the camera, amidst the four direction buttons, and you're live! Also note that to autofocus here, you should use the zoom minus button, a button with a star beside it.

Eos digital software

Hi,

My brother in law just had the same problem and the upshot was that his pc wasn't up to spec.. Not enough RAM...

Have you gone through the specs requirements on the CD to make sure your computer can handle it? There is a photo management package amont other things on the CD so it has some graphics requirements..
