You have to reinstall the ASUS Eee bluetooth driver. If you've your CD driver, insert it in and look for Bluetooth. Otherwise click on this Link to download it;

Usualy this is a battery fault.
If the laptop remains on ac mode without battery try to replace the battery.

do you not have a recovery program or an option when you first boot to recover?
can you get a copy of your operating system on a usb stick?
what does the manual advise you do to recover the system? what operating system was installed?

Translation: Start up from the disk that came with your laptop and follow repair tool instructions (or contact the manufacturer to obtain a copy - which you may possibly need to purchase.
