Can't get the screen on

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

Samsung website

First thing you need to do is find a small paperclip, bend the clip until it is straight, now on the cd player or next to it there should be 1 or 2 small holes, take the clip and insert it into the hole and give it a slight push the door should pop open if it does not try the other one. Another option is go to the control panel menu on your desktop and go to devices find the cd player open it and use the eject button there it will be an arrow with a line under it.

How to eject dvd disk samsung laptop no eject button?

There are two ways toopen the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject. If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by -Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drivetray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive traypops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CDdisc. If you continue having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD driveis faulty and needs replacing.

Get setting for the internet that have been wipe

Hello.

If you lost your network info: To find the key you need to log into the router. In a browser, type http://192.168.2.1 (depending on your network, this could be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) in the address bar. A username and password box will appear. Try leaving them blank or key in Admin with a blank password. Look for wireless setup. Just browse through and you'll see the WEP key or passphrase. Then, change the key.

You can get all this info if you go to Start-> (type) RUN, then (type) CMD. Then type ipconfig. Whatever your gateway number is that is the number to your router.

If you are looking for your network, click on the network icon (should find right bottom of your screen), access your network by clicking on the icon, enter the password and you should be OK.

Hope this resolves your problem.

How do I reset my

Hello,

You can achieve this by using the Magic doctor that is already installed on your PC by Samsung.

Magic Doctor (Fn+F7) will diagnose problems with the computer (like you don't have an anti-virus installed) and offer solutions. It also can easily restore the system to the factory default.

Press the Fn + F7 on start-up or windows, and the Magic doctor dialogue box should pop out.

Look at the left down part of the magic doctor box and you should find "Restore the system" (which also means factory default settings). Click it and follow instructions.

This is how to reset your
samsung nc10 to factory settings.

Good luck.

To fix the volume control re-install the drivers of the laptop and in the right lower corner you will see a speaker like symbol where you can control the volume. Increse the volume from there.

Thanks
