enter service mode then mode then reset/clear sc if it came back than change the thermistors

this error code came from the LD unit which means the seconder LD is not synchronized on the machine but try to clean the mirror if it came agin the replace the LD board

Problem:
ID sensor pattern test error

Description:
One of the following ID sensor output voltages was detected twice consecutively when checking the ID sensor pattern.
1) Vsp ? 2.5V
2) Vsg ? 2.5V
3) Vsp = 0V
4) Vsg = 0V

Possible Problems:
• ID sensor defective
• ID sensor connector defective
• Poor ID sensor connector connection
• I/O board (IOB) defective
• High voltage supply board defective
• ID sensor dirty
• Defect at ID sensor pattern writing area of the drum

** Generally, I've found this problem to almost always be one of the last two items listed above.

dsm 745 has more modification than1045 more comfortable less disputes little problem. technicians can see this difference there are more details but i expressed that dsm 745 is recently than 1045 good luck

kindly check if there is enouh developer in the unit .if there is check the glass covering the laser unit and clean it. if there there is no developer then change it and the problem is solved

Independente do modelo ser Dsm715 ou Dsm745 esse codigo corresponde a um erro na Unidade de Laser, mais precisamente com o sincronismo.
A primeira coisa a verificar nestes casos é se a Unidade de Laser está suja. Por vezes cai toner para o Laser e provoca estes codigos.
Se tiveres conhecimento tecnico saberás chegar á unidade de Laser. Se não tens esse conhecimento aconcelho a não mexeres (chama alguem que o saiba fazer).
Na minha opinião este deve ser o primeiro passo a dar. Deves fazer uma limpeza na Unidade de Laser.
Se não resultar replica para mim ou volta a colocar a questão no Fixya. Existem otros factores que podem provocar este codigo.

Let me understand your problem. You are saying that the text is not black in areas on the print, they appear to be white or washed out. If this is the case the first thing that you may try is to remove the "toner shield glass" and clean it. It is located directly under the toner bottle tray, possibly behind a little metal bracket. It just slides out to the front of the machine. If that does not help, then the machine would likely need to have the developer and drum replaced.
