When the machine agitates, it stops working. The belt has a lot of tension at this point. stops working?? does it trip shutdown what your info is far too sparse to make any definitive view if the belt and rotors gears {egg gear} has failed you would hear it grinding so can you hear the motor running ie youll hear the water circulation motor pump usually one motor is used for both if this is the case and the motor runs then its the gear system thats wrong check the agitator motor start up capacitor hasnt failed the info you give isnt good enough

The water valve is either faulty or clogged. Remove the hoses and check the screen in the water valve on the back of the machine.

You can do one or 2 things. Drain the machine, disconnect the pressure tube going to the level switch and reconnect it. Check the actual switch itself and make sure it is working and also check that it hasnt fallen off and shorted itself against the frame of the washing machine. I see these switches fall off inside a lot.

there should be a key sequence to program the new board as this board will fit a lot of units with different features,and you need to set the program for your particular machine,there should be an instruction sheet on how to accomplish this with the new board

the cloths in the washer needs to be ballance... too much load on one side

Sounds like a broken know try pushing in with some force or pull out with some force if both fail the know will have to be replaced

On a modern washer there will be an Engineers Program which is invoked by a key combination press. You can control all the functions from there and do tests. 1200 rpm is the Ideal speed for a washing machine for good reasons... Have a look at the manufacturer's panel, probably on the back- it might give you an indication there- or your manual?
Another possibility would be to go onto the manufacturer's web site DIRECT to see, OR your (intended) vendor's site?

The #1 error means that the motor indeed is bad and it needs to be replaced. there is a product called washing machine cleaner that can resolve this issue. Use it monthly.

Do it from the top.

Use an ohmmeter across all the windings, they should be a few ohms (my washer is 2.3 to 2.7 ohms). There is probably a service manual inside the front, bottom panel that will give you the exact range for your motor and that also gives you the pin definition of the connector so you know what pins the different windings attach to.

On something like this several test will need to be made with a volt/ohm meter & inspection of the washers control board in order to determine what the problem is. Usually on this model the "control board is the failed component. Here is a link to the control board in case you need it.

Hi, did you say the drum of the washer hangs down from the top panel? If that be the case, you certainly have to replace the shock absorber to make the drum balance again.
