My ge washing machine over fills on super level
Hello, there is a pressure switch for the water level regulation that seems to
be malfunctioning in your unit at this time. You will need to replace
this switch asap. this will correct this issue.
Thanks
Final rinse cycle never engages
does all the water drain out? will the machine spin on any cycle? does the timer advance to off?
if the lid switch fails to activate then it would not let your machine spin on any cycle.
you should also check to see if cold water is coming into the machine. most machines rinse on cold water and if the water valve for the cold side fails - this could also be a cause.
Water fill control
it overflows from the tub then:
This can either be a fault in the
fill sense tube( small tube connected to the bottom on the outer tub
from the sensor at or near the top of the washer housing ) becoming
blocked or broken or a fault with the sensor itself. There is a mechanical adjustment for the level but it is a little fiddly to get the adjustment just right.
If it overfills from the drain hose:
then either the drain hose is too low and the water
siphons out before it reaches the maximum or there is a tight seal at
the drain hose to house drain port which will cause all the water to
siphon out, this can also be caused by a drain hose being pushed too far down the house drain port.
Washer noisey when spining
Those washer hang on four rods for support and they also use four rubber straps to control lateral movement. The rods can give and stretch with a big load and cause the motor to rub the floor. Remove the front panel by pressing downward between the top and front.
(top is bolted down). Give it a look see with the front off to determine what is making the noise.

Machine fills and water just sits.
if the timer doesn't advance from either position, then its your timer motor and you will need to trace the power to the motor off the timer,if it has power then the motor is defective and you need to replace the timer unit
My wdsr2080d is not filling
Hi,
This seems a drainage mechanism issue. Please verify to see how much drain line is in the stand pipe in the wall. Normally there should only be about a foot of drain hose in the pipe any more that that will cause a siphon effect that will **** out any water that goes in. The stand piper in the wall behind washer must be as tall as the washer itself. Please let me know if this does not help else please accept it.

Hello.
Our washer is leaking after
What you should do is remove the front cover and look for leaks. If the bungy straps are weak and worn they will allow for excessive movement in the large load and tend to slosh the water out. Section 3 of this
manual shows how to access the machine. Do a load with the front off and use a flash light to look for leaks. Their will be moving parts so be careful. I have seen the hose from tub get a small pinhole leak, I have seen the drain hose leak, rarely the tub seal. But the lateral movement with a full load and water sloshing I have seen. This machine's tub is suspended on four hanging rods. Lateral movement is kept to a minimum with bungy straps. These stretch out over time, sometimes just flat break. That is where I suspect you are getting the water from, seen it before.

Leaks
Check hoses or any gasket seals. If it's the latter, sometimes just tightning the bolts around the seal will fix the problem.
