please the causes and remedies: God bless youf your Top Load Washer Has No Water Entering Check The FollowingWater Inlet Valve
First check the hoses that connect to the water inlet valve. Remove
these completely there should be a screen in at least one end and maybe
both ends. Clean these screens. Next check the back of the water inlet
valve screens and remove and clean. If cleaning these out does not
correct the problem you will need to check to make sure you have power
going to the water inlet valve. Most top loaders will have 120 volts
going to the valve. Check each solenoid on the valve. You will need to
have the washer on and turned to a fill cycle when checking. If you have
power and still no water replace the water inlet valve. No power replace the control.
Control / Timer
This is less likely the problem but can fail. If you have no power going
to the water inlet valve when selecting a fill cycle the timer/ control
has failed and you will need to replace the timer.
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged
drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and
remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower
front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs,
you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this
helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

It sounds like the belt is slipping & the damping straps are not securing the movement. The top tub cover should have 4 short rubber straps securing the basket to the cabinet. This prevents the tub from hitting the cabinet while the washer is spinning. I would recommend having the damper straps & the belt checked. Other possibilities would be the transmission or the brakes hanging up.
Shut off you water supplies, and disconnect yoyr hoses at the wall and at the machine. Inside either the hoses or the valves (solenoid valves) that they connect to are screens and hose washers. Gently remove the screens and clean out any debris then reinstall. This is generally the issue. If the problem persists, try to determine if the issue is on the "cold" side or the "hot" side. If you can isolate it to one or the other, the issue is probably one of the solenoid water inlet valves. This is easily replaced. With the power off, remove the valve. You can purchase a replacement at any appliance parts supply house. Take your old one with you for an exact replacement. Best regards,
It is probably a defective door latch. The door latch switch is checked in several parts of the cycle. Even if the latch is snapping, if the switch is defective the cycle may stop at random times
The door latch must be tested by running a cycle with its contacts jumped.
Other part that may cause the cycle stopping at different times is a defective pressure switch. The pressure switch is the sensor switch that detects the water level. Its signal is used by electronic control to determine when to
advance in different parts of the cycle.
If the parts listed above are OK, more parts like wiring to motor must be tested. If everything else is OK the control board must be replaced.
hELLO THERE: Lid switchIf
the lid switch is defective, the washing machine may not agitate or
function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing
near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of
the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need
to replace it. Motor coupler relatively inexpensive
motor coupling. It's plastic and rubber and is mounted to the shaft of
the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time,
the coupler wears out and fails. If this happens, you need to completely
replace it.Belts If a belt is broken or badly
worn, you need to replace it with a genuine belt from the manufacturer.
(Some washing machine belts are designed with special characteristics
not found in automotive belts.)ClutchIf
your washer was made by GEĀ®, it may use a clutch for agitating the
clothes. As the clutch wears out, it may prevent the washer from
agitating well or at all. If the clutch is worn, you need to replace it.
For this job, you probably want to hire a qualified appliance repair
technician.Drive motorMany
washer brands use a reversing motor. For agitation the motor runs in
one direction, for spinning and draining, the other. It's possible for a
motor to burn out in one direction and continue to operate in the
other. If this happens, you need to replace the entire motor. an to repair it.AgitatorThe
inside of the agitator--where the transmission shaft attaches--can
become worn, and strip out the spline that allows the agitator to
properly grip the shaft. Then the transmission shaft rotates back and
forth as it should, but the agitator doesn't move properly. If this
happens, you may need to replace the agitator and/or the transmission
spline.
