Power off the machine hold down the stop button and turn on the machine that will reset the machine if it comes back the fusing unit needs to have either the upper fuser roller replaced or the thermistor need to be replaced or the power board needs replacing DO NOT CONTINUE TO RESET it can catch on fire that would ruin a perfectly good day! Pull out the image unit. have the drum removed check the cleaning blade is it yellow replace it. IF you can fine run ! Clean the drum off be careful no liquids USE a clean brush. NO vacuum cleaner the static electricity from the vacuum cleaner can destroy the Developer sensor (Unless you know how to do it). It is not hard to do... The question is are you a service tech or just want to do it your self. If you are not a tech, it is best to leave it to someone who knows how to do it. It can & will get ugly fast if your not sure on how to do it......

Remove the imaging unit ,remove the charge corona assy,remove the OPC drum,remove 2 screw and dump the developer out.Reinstall the imaging unit ,pull out the toner cartridge and push in toner cartride ocation the developer cartridge.Turn on the copier and wait then the copier perform the new developer initialization.Whwn the Start button in ready(green light),change the developer cartridge to toner cartridge.

Do the lines show up when you make copies with the adf and the copyboard glass?If it shows up on both you may need a new OPC drum & cleaning blade.

Minolta EP1052 - Operates but nothing prints on the paper. Toner seems OK. Can't get to print in any of the exposures.
Any ideas - or has it finally died??
